Do the ziploc bags keep clothes from being wrinkled or do they make them worse?

Any packing tips to eliminate wrinkling?....I hate ironing every night at Disney.

Thanks!

Have you tried getting the Downy Wrinkle Release? I had a shirt that I wadded up in a bag after I purchased it, and forgot about it (oops!). I was going to take it out and throw it in the wash, but thought I would see how the wrinkle release spray did. I put it on a hanger, sprayed the release on, pulled the wrinkles out really quick, and let it dry. No wrinkles when I came back!!! I have packed this in my bag, and am not worrying about wrinkles; I know my spray will get it out for me yay!!
You should try that though, I found it at Wal-Mart in the regular laundry aisle

I second Downy Wrinkle Release. Between that and the humidity in Florida, you shouldn't have to iron at all. :)

hth.

I just bought the travel size at Walmart today too! I paid 1.50! I'll let you know how it works cause I plan to pack my stuff in ziploc bags!!!

I live in t-shirts. I haven't ironed one in the past 3 years. I love Wrinkle Release!

Geez......... where have I been, I've never heard of this wrinkle release :rolleyes1 Thanks for the info........ I too hate ironing while on vacation!! I'm gonna go get some for our upcomming trip!! :thumbsup2

Just a tip that I tried this last trip to WDW. We rolled the clothes tightly. They came out great. I was so surprised. Try it.

I too do not like ironing..but I do not have any luck with the wrinkle release. I am beginning to think it is just me. I read and did the directions and no luck. So then almost soaked it in release and still no luck....anyone else having this issue? just curious...

I have the downy wrinkle release at home...but where did you find a travel size?

Was it down the same aisle?

Rolling clothes works well, but even if it doesn't - when I'm on vacation I don't care about wrinkles - on me or my clothes!!

You don't even need to pay the $$ for wrinkle release. Just mist with water, shake hard and most wrinkles will fall out. If you have time mist, shake, and hang. In the FL weather though you can mist, shake, and wear damp. The wrinkles will be gone in 5 minutes. :thumbsup2

I have also used the roll method. I now roll all of my clothes when I travel so that they take less space. By rolling my clothes I find that I don't get too many wrinkles. Also, I agree with a previous poster, when I am on vacation, I don't worry about wrinkles. :)

Since I live in shorts and t-shirts, I only use in t-shirts. I just hang them on a hanger, spray them and then tug them taunt. The wrinkles are gone. Maybe it doesn't work on other types of clothing. :confused3

I will have to get some of the wrinkle release since I pack all my kids clothes in ziplocs. I just hand them their bag in the morning. Where did you find the trial size? Was it in the same place as the regular stuff? TOO COOL....I hadn't heard of it. Don't need it up here, I guess. :thumbsup2

Learned this trick when I used to travel a lot on business. I do the same every time we go to Disney. As soon as you unpack your clothes and put them on hangars, hang them on the curtain rod in the bathroom. Turn the shower on HOT and let it run for about 15-20 minutes. Voila, all the wrinkles are gone.

I LOVE the Downey Wrinkle Release!!! Seems to to work best with T-shirts and other cotton material.

Here is an even better deal!!! Go here and get your $1 off coupon! They will either email it or snail mail it, but it is off ANY size :thumbsup2

I'm a "roller." This seems to work very well with most clothes (and takes less room in suitcase). Since most hotel rooms have an iron/ironing board in them, I can touch up things the day I arrive, if needed - but have rarely needed to do that because rolling works!

Where is everyone finding the travel size? Is it next to the full size or in a different aisle?

Okay, I was at Walmart today and found the trial size Wrinkle release in the trial size isle. It was $1.50 and I bought one. Just wanted to share where I found it. I looked in the regular area too to see if it was there also but it wasn't. JUST in the trial size area. Hope this helps everyone out! :thumbsup2
