We just got back from our Trip. We were there September 14th-18th. We went to Animal Kingdom on the 16th and were treated to a private safari and then we went to Rafiki's (can't remember the name) and we got Dream Fast Passes on the way into the building at 10:15 am. On our Thursday morning we were coming off of Peter Pan's and we got dream ears at 10:05. I saw them hanging out at the exit and figured it was worth a shot and got in line and sure enough when we got off we were presented with Dream Ears the last thing I needed for my collection. We got Dream Lanyards in June at Animal Kingdom where the pink flamingos are. We also saw the Dream team getting ready to hand things out at 2:30 where the pink flamingos are at Animal Kingdom on the 16th. Didn't stick around to see what it was though. My daughter and my niece were given the speacial tink pins by a Dream Member on Sunday our first day there. It was a good trip. The Halloween party was awesome.

Sounds like you had a magical trip!! We leave tomorrow and I hope to run into the Dream Squad!!

We just got back too 9/9 - 9/16 and had a different experience we had no dreams at all. This was our fourth trip during the year of a million dreams and still got nothing. We did see dream team members walking around but they where only there to talk with guest and pin trade. Oh well our ride waits where good. No more then 20 min at the longest.:thumbsup2

Wow - we just got back (9/10 - 9/14) the only time I saw the Dream Team was coming off of It's a Small World on our last day... they split the exiting guests into 2 lines - we were in the "too bad, no dream ears for you" line - needless to say, that was not the most special way to end a trip

Congratulations!
We have the set of those Tink pins from previous trips too! Aren't they cute?

DBF is always surprised whenever we "win" anything, because he doesn't ever read DIS-level details of YOAMD anywhere, so he has wondered how / why the CM can give it to us for free. It's lovely to win, and it's okay to not get anything too; we'll see what happens this year. We always have a great time at WDW; it truly is our way to escape from the real world, and it is our favorite place for dreams to come true.

The Dream Fastpasses are nice to receive. We have passed unused tabs along to someone else if we leave the park, to pay it forward. We even had two sets returned to us AFTER we returned from our trip one year (without most of the tabs), so I could save the lanyard part on them. That was thoughtful.

I'll miss YOAMD... it's so very Disney in the essence of how it made so many people feel "special" -- even if just for a moment.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, we leave in 3 weeks. I haven't mentioned anything to my kids about the Dream Team, I am hoping they will be surprised on the trip, at least once!:cutie:

Just keep your eyes open and if you see them standing at the end of a ride hop on and cross your fingers. Also get to the parks early that seems to be the key. They seem to go to the same places. Rafikis planet watch, pink flamingo area at AK, etc. Read the disboards thread on what time and place did you get dreamed. It is luck, but I believe also strategy. Good Luck! I am really going to miss A year of a million dreams.:sad1: But I will cherish our dream ears, lanyards and fastpasses. We did see a Marine and his wife and we did pass on two dream fastpasses with all the tabs still attatched as my sister and niece did not ride any of the big rides. We did keep two used fastpasses for the girls scrapbooks. It felt good to spread the magic. I hope they had fun.

Wow lots of great dreams. Congrats! I'm glad you were able to get the ears. I hope there are a lot of dreams being handed out next week, too!

Just missed getting dream ears at Innoventions one morning. Everyone seemed to have them - I came in the other door!

I did see lots of Dream team CM's but they were just hanging out not giving anything away.

My niece did get the Tink pin from a family when she was handing out some of the toys I brought for her to hand out. She also got another one from the chef at our resort for giving her treats-bubbles and a chocolate.

The Divas were there 9/8-9/14. We had Dream Team radar! ::cop:
If we saw a Dream Team member we did whatever we could to engage him or her (ask them to take our picture, ask them the time, trade pins, etc) We were lucky enough to get two official dreams...both @EPCOT!
The first on we got The Top of the Tank Dream @The Living Seas (we were taken backstage to see the dolphins from where else, the top of the tank!) while we were there Diva Becky mentioned that she was certified to scuba dive and they asked if she wanted to dive! She got to participate in Dive Quest! After wards The Dream Team treated us all to dessert!
Another day @EPCOT we got VIP seating for Illuminations!

We also just got back (9/13 - 9/21), and we saw quite a few dream team members. We did manage to win dream fastpasses on our very last day in the parks (about 3 hours before we needed to get on the DME to the airport).

The first time we saw the dream team, they had surrounded a family on 9/14 in AK where the Pagini trail, Rafiki's planet watch train, and the Safari all exit, so I don't know which exit they got them on (we had just come from the trail). We didn't stick around to watch, but it looked like a good prize.

We just missed getting FPs at the Star Tours on 9/16. Others exiting just after us had them.

We saw quite a few without their vests walking around and being friendly throughout our vacation, but the next time we saw them with vests was at the Conservation Station at AK when we came out of the bathroom.....they were just standing around in their vests just waiting, so we went back out to pet the goats and came back in the front to be greeted with fastpasses. Unfortunately, on that day we needed to head back, so only got to use a couple of tabs. We almost gave the rest away, but we really wanted to keep the passes as a keepsake, so we just got normal fastpasses and handed them out instead. ;)

We saw a lot of folks with the ears and fastpasses the whole time we were there, so the dreamteams are in full force this September.
