Hello all!! I've been following this thread although I haven't posted yet. Just wanted to say that I sent my package off to USGB on Monday. As a PP stated, it got there at 3pm - the latest time it was supposed to arrive.
According to my calculations, I had 1.75 oz of 14k, .125 of 10k, and .125 of 18k. I also had a bangle bracelet that assume is 14k, but I'm not sure - it weighed .25 oz.
So- we'll see!


A big thank you to whoever started this whole thing! What a great idea to get extra cash to add to the Disney fund!!!

No, there is a Kiosk stand on the lower level next to Picture People. I have sent others there as well - they will weigh your gold - check to see if its 14k or 10k etc. Cash on the spot

I dopped mine off at FedEx yesterday and, according to the tracking info, it's on the truck to be delivered today!!!!!!!!

I stopped by a local jewelry store 2 days ago and got $75 for a bent bracelett (light and thin) and some mismatched earrings. Maybe could have gotten more on USGold, but cash in hand was a good thing that day! Took the kids out (spring break) without touching budgeted money.

This is why Im questioning, I printed the label, dropped it off yesterday, checked the tracking and it says delivery for 3/31. Whats up with that?! Or did you do the overnight for the $23? I didnt do that one, just the regular fedex shipping.

Good for you. Just brought my mom to a local shop and after driving all the way out there, sign on the door says theyre not opening til 1:30 today! All that wasted gas. And hey - $75 for one bracelet and a few earrings...NICE!

thats normal.. your printed slip should of said the 31st also.. but it ends up making in there faster

I think it depends on where you are as to how long it takes to go to them.

Is it worth selling silver too? I have a 6 mm celtic silver band that is sterling silver. I doubt I would get much for it on ebay. I paid $45 for it a few years ago, but I don't want it anymore.

I called for my fedex pickup this morning. I am going ahead and sending mine to goldfellow. USGB was not accepting any more shipments to go out today. I am anticipating the gold value to fall in the next few months. Since I figure the weaker the dollar, the stronger gold, when the stimulus money starts pouring in to all the people and it will bolster the economy making the dollar stronger, if only temporariliy and the gold values will drop. Also, the fed is supposed to cut rates again in the next couple weeks so that will make the dollar stronger for a few days.

I just did the regular free shipping, not overnight, but the package is already there! I shipped from Chicago, if that helps any.

I did forget to let them know I found them here so I'll have to wait until they call to let them know about the extr 10%.

Why don't you email them through there website? There is a contact page I think. You can tell them too, but this might be quicker for you.

I got a check from cash4gold for $18.69 yesterday. I had a ring, necklace (pretty light, probably a quarter inch wide, 18 in.), a very flimsy chain necklace (15 in), and one small hoop earring. The ring and one necklace were 14K, the other two items were 10K. I went ahead and took it (mostly because it was all junk as far as I was concerned, and I didn't want to keep fooling with it).

Based on PiratesRock's post, it doesn't sound like cash4gold is one of the better options. If I send anymore in, it will be through USGB or Goldfellows.

I had 4 ounces of silver and got $71 for it from usgoldbuyers. I probably wouldn't mail in just silver but if you're mailing in gold too and don't want it anymore, why not?
