Of course the house is more important .

I love beautiful gardens but if I was to buy another house it would not have a ton of gardens to much work and upkeep. I have taken some out over the years in the backyard.

Priorities would be the house and I could care less about a garden because I do not have a green thumb so it would be made into something more functional

The house! We are not the gardening types at all. We downsized 4 years from a house with big front and back yards to a townhouse with 3 patios. The front patio has a 6x6 raised planter box. Otherwise, the rest are covered with brick. We can manage to keep the front planter looking nice, but are glad that's all the gardening with have to deal with.

A nicer house. A garden can be work, but there's so much you can do with one.
