Little cars girl is soooo cute.
Aww, thank you!!!
Little cars girl is soooo cute.
Absolutely! And I wouldn't make any attempt to make the costume more feminine. Nothing wrong with a girl being spiderman (without any alterations).![]()
Of course -- if a child can pretend to have spider power and climb walls, why on earth wouldn't I let them pretend to be the opposite gender?
There's an amazing children's book, Amazing Grace, that deals with the issue of a little girl who wants to be Peter Pan in the school play and gets teased because she's neither male nor white, but ends up getting the part and showing everyone how talented she is. Maybe read that with your daughter in case she gets comments.
This is a picture of my dd two years ago at age 9. This year she is going to be the Yeti from EE. She has also done some more girly costumes. Belle, a witch, a girl pirate.

For halloween our DD (3.5) is in LOVE with spiderman. Would you let your daughter dress up as a boy costume for halloween? Can you think of any way to make it more femine? Maybe some wings or a crown or something??
I agree with everyone. DD12 was Bear in the Big Blue house at MNSSHP when she was 3 and she was Jack Sparrow last year. Heck we even dressed our male dog as Tinkerbell one year to match dd's costume. Let her be who she wants and have fun!!!
if my child wants to wear men's underwear 20 years from now, well good for her. She'll be the one paying for them then! Woo hoo!![]()
Hey, at least good men's underwear is cheaper!![]()
DD5 just informed me that the only way she will go out trick or treating is if she could be Mike Wazowski so I put the order in this morning lol, it'll be cute.
Awwww that is SO cute!! Please post pictures!!!
Yes, totally need pictures of Mike Wazowski!
