I never graduated college. I worked my tail off in high school to get multiple full scholarships so I was actually making money by attending, but after the first year I hated it and left. One of the best decisions I ever made

. I left to start my own business and I love it. I did a stint at WDW as a CM and quickly found out I didn't like being an employee either, so back to my business I went. I think I'm just too independent.
The line "you dropped a hundred and fifty grand on an education you coulda' picked up for a dollar fifty in late charges at the Public Library" from Good Will Hunting pretty much sums up my view of college. If you want to learn there is nothing stopping you from reading a book on your own.
That being said, while college wasn't right for me, I think it's fine if other people value it so highly. Graduating does show hard work and dedication and if you know you want to go into a field that requires a degree than college is the way to go. I just don't think college is right for everyone.
