Would I be ok with a December use year if...

If I want to take most of my trips in January, and if I would have to borrow from the next year until I get more points? Can I still book my trip 7 or 11 months out if I won't get my points until December, and if I have to borrow points?

Yes, December would work well for you.

Please realize that Use Year has nothing to do with making a reservation. You can always make a reservation at your home resort 11 months ahead - as long as the points will be available by the time of the reservation. With a December Use Year, they would be available for a January trip even if you need to borrow from the next Use Year. The same applies for reservations within 7 months.

For a trip in January, 2010 - you could make that reservation in February, 2009 using points from your December, 2009 and points borrowed from December, 2010.
