Wot, no Spectromagic????

Have I been under a stone for too long, or did I miss that Spectromagic is no more??

I've just checked out the Park Hours and schedule for May, and there are no night time parades at all.

I'm going in August, but I was checking May just to see if the night parade was still at 9pm.

Am I being stupid here, but if not I'm gutted

As far as we know Spectro does still exist it's just that they have cut lots of things in May - Fireworks are only on a Saturday night and yup no Spectro. I'm taking it that's it's just a downturn in crowds etc and not that Spectro has been cancelled full stop they'd make a formal announcement about that sort of thing. I'm sure that Spectro will be on for you in August when crowds are a little higher than in May.

Sam's right - Spectromagic is still the current night-time parade but where the park hours are shortened because of expected low attendance, the parade doesn't take place.

Yep, Spectro lives on but is very limited.

Our 'usual' fortnight in March has always had nightly Spectros but that was cut back to once a week (Saturday) this year.

As it's a light parade it relies on darkness so that's probably the reason for no shows in May as they're cutting back openin hours so no 'spot' for Spectro.
