World Series....

Okay, so with the Sox getting the wild card, it brought to my attention that IF they get into the WS, this could impact me. (NOTE, my enthusiasm and accurate knowledge of the sport is very limited and I am probably the only New Englander who could give a hoot about baseball and 'the curse')

Anyway....went to www.mlb.com and the WS is scheduled to start 10/23.....thats the day we go to WDW for our 10th anniversary.....so feasibly, there could be a game on 10/29 when I am planning for a nice, TV free dinner.

DH's sarcastic comment (and I know he is kidding)....there's ESPN ZONE! RIGHT!

Should the Red Sox get into the World Series the games at Fenway will be played on Saturday and Sunday 10/23 and 10/24 and 10/30 and 10/31 providing they need games 6 & 7

the first set are games 1 and 2 and the last 2 set are games 6 and 7.

this goes for any AL team and the NL teams host the AL Tues, Wed and Thursday

As of right now the Red sox are scheduled to be home every weekend in Oct!!!!!

You're in the clear. There is no WS game scheduled for 10/29. The full schedule would have games played on 10/23, 10/24, 10/26, 10/27, 10/28*, 10/30* and 10/31*

*If necessary.

As a Sox fan I can tell you this....they'll find a way to almost make the WS but fall just a bit short...no worries...have fun on the "TV Free" cruise.

Now if you were talking about the Patriots and the Super Bowl....
