Working on my President's Week Reservations!! Anyone else going??

It has been a lot of fun thinking about our next trip while the snow was falling, and falling, and falling. I am almost done with our reservations for BCV for President's Week! This is only our second WDW trip so we are still very excited.

We are going to stay at AKL for the first few days then go to BCV in a 2 bedroom for the rest of the week. I hope the crowds aren't too bad and the weather good!!

Anyone else going??

The weather is great but the crowds are high that week also. I stayed at WDW about 10 years in a row Presidents week, I believe it is the 3rd or 4th busiest week of the year. You should have a great time staying AKL and then BCV, forget the crowds and just remember your friends freezing up there in NY while you are swimming in the best pool in all of WDW at BCV. Have fun

I just finished my reservation at VWL this morning. We will be there Sun - Fri President's week and not sure where we're staying on the weekend yet!

We'll be at WLV from Sun - Thurs. then we're going to universal for 3 days (we've never been)

Just booked today Feb 18+19 at OKW , before we go on our cruise on Feb 20th. We plan on switching to SSR at the 7 month window though.

We always go at this time to get away from the Ohio

weather.

We'll be following you down from Rochester. We plan on being there from Feb 20 - 23 (or 24), staying at HGVC from Feb. 24-27. I'm not making ressies just yet, waiting to see if I can get into BCV (from SSR) next month for Thanksgiving, before I make the Prez ressie.

And unlike Nick, I will be trying to switch to OKW at the 7 month window!

Although I will be very happy staying @ SSR if I can't get either BCV or OKW ressie.

We are planning to go to AKL from Thurs-Sun. on Pres. weekend then tranfer to BCV for Sun-Sat.

We really liked BCV last time but are considering switching to VWL at 7 months. It would be nice to be close to MK but hard to give up the convience of Epcot and MGM and all those restaurants!!!

My DH and DD loved AKL when we went there for dinner last time so we thought we would stay there for a few nights. I'm not sure if we will pay cash or use points. I guess I will wait and see what the rates are closer. My DH would love to do the sunrise safari but the concierge is big $$$.

Unfortunately, I get too guilty when I take my DD out of school for more than a couple days (even though she is only in 2nd grade!) so we are stuck with the school breaks. I am just hoping that it is just crowded, not insane!! Or choices are Thanksgiving week, Christmas, Pres. Week and 3rd week in April or summer. This time we thought going when the snow was deep in NY would be very uplifting. Summer is just too special here to leave. We were there over Thanksgiving and it was full but since we have young children we were there at opening and left after lunch for a nap (me too!) and a swim and back for fireworks. This seemed to work well.
