That's how short staffed we are at our department. I worked Monday from 3:30pm until 7:30am then did my regular tour which is 24 hours and tonight I just was notified that I'll be working another tour tomorrow from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
That will be 24 hours of overtime in three days
. I really hope that the powers to be hire some more firefighters soon our overtime is getting out of hand and it's taking a toll on us and our families.
I am so glad in two weeks I'll be in Disney and leave all this behind.
