We did rental with National Car going from Orlando to Port Canveral let me tell you that was a big mistake. We had to take the car back to their site in Cocoa Beach which seem like forever. Then once there the agent calls a Yellow Cab which they have a contract with to take you back to the terminal that was fun we had to wait till this cap picked someone up at the terminal coming back to National Rental there. The fee going to terminal was $12.00 with tip of $3.00. Ok so you arrived back in terminal after the trip and now you running around looking for a Yellow Cab to take you to National Rental and there was none at the terminal or maybe someone caught it before me, so it was finding a cab which I did after 15 mins and then paying for the drive to National which cost now $16.90 arriving and all you get is $11.00 credit deduction. I saw Budget vans at the waiting lot across the street from the terminal and I think Avis also offers a pickup and drop service.
My advice is used other then National they are Disneys preferred car rental but not suited for this area. No deals just headaches...
Still will use National Rental while at Disney World where they have lots in the resort but not at Port Canaveral....
