We had to cancel our June trip because of some unexpected expenses. We were planning on doing a 6 night stay at the OKW Villas with my parents and my brother. Between all of us, we were splitting everything. However, my Mom had to have emergency dental work done, so they had to cancel - which canceled everyone. We were trying to figure out a way for just our family of 4 to go, but we really wanted to do it as a family. So, we were going to wait until Christmas of 2014. Well, I kept looking and looking for cheaper ways to go, and I finally found a good deal on Southwest vacations that get us cheaper airfare and a discount!! If we go through them and cut a day, my parents might me able to afford things and the vacation might be back on. I think they were feeling badly about having to disappoint the kids (even though we were planning on still going - just later) and this way the kids still get to go to Star Wars. Nothing is official yet because you have to put a lot more down as a deposit with Southwest Vacations than with Disney, but at least it might be back on the table. YES!
