**Woohoo !! It's Christmas Day**

Thanks Mandy, Nat & Emma.

I have managed to order another crimbo tree, now I have just got to wait for it to be delivered! Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week. :wizard:

I'm fed up - my new crimbo tree that was delivered this afternoon is naff. It looked so thread bare, so is now packed back in its box and going back for a refund.....back to square one! :headache:

Oh no how dissapointing! At least you managed to get another one ordered.

My mom bought her marzipan in August as she reckons that last year she couldn't get it anywhere! She made the Christmas cake a couple of weeks ago, I'm not that keen on it but I will have a slice just so that my mom doesn;t feel that she wasted her time making it! I'm a good daughter!

Jill your cake looks fantastic! :)

That cake looks yummy Jill. :thumbsup2 Neither me or my hubby eat fruit cake but your photo just bought back memories of when I was a little girl, I used to help my mum make the christmas cake every year. Just before we put the mixture in the cake tin the whole family would take turns and stir it once whilst making a wish. :goodvibes

We used to do this as well but this year it was just me & Hubby that stirred the cake and licked the bowl clean:goodvibes

My Granddad used to make dozens of Christmas cakes. When he passed on, he'd already made the cakes for Christmas, so it was nice having something he'd made there that Christmas... :goodvibes

Thats lovely, what a special thing:goodvibes

My christmas cards that I ordered arrived today, and I'm really pleased with them:cool1: complete with wintery (sp?)photos of the girls on the front and no need for much writing inside :yay: I was feeling lazy this year :guilty:
I'll only be using them for distant relatives that don't see the girls, not for closest friends, DISer's and relatives....;)

I didn't think they were particularly expensive, around £35 for 60 cards. If anybody wants the details, let me know....
