I'm fed up - my new crimbo tree that was delivered this afternoon is naff. It looked so thread bare, so is now packed back in its box and going back for a refund.....back to square one!![]()
I love Christmas Cake, but I never buy it as no-one else eats it at home, and I'd polish it all off in no time![]()
That cake looks yummy Jill.Neither me or my hubby eat fruit cake but your photo just bought back memories of when I was a little girl, I used to help my mum make the christmas cake every year. Just before we put the mixture in the cake tin the whole family would take turns and stir it once whilst making a wish.

My Granddad used to make dozens of Christmas cakes. When he passed on, he'd already made the cakes for Christmas, so it was nice having something he'd made there that Christmas...![]()

Thats lovely, what a special thing![]()
My christmas cards that I ordered arrived today, and I'm really pleased with themcomplete with wintery (sp?)photos of the girls on the front and no need for much writing inside
I was feeling lazy this year
I'll only be using them for distant relatives that don't see the girls, not for closest friends, DISer's and relatives....![]()
