We were able to find a great rate at the Ramada Gaslamp Convention Center on Expedia.com...220 for two nights.

Does anyone have a hotel suggestion for San Diego. Looks like we will get in around 8 pm on the 11th.

We are staying at the Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island. Arriving on the 10th sometime....haven't made air reservations yet...debating about driving to Orlando & flying from there so when we get back we'll drive back up to Long Island since my husband HATES to fly.

Ok, so this is a little off topic from our cruise and hotel planning. But, it is getting a little chilly here in the Sunshine State. And, it is suppose to get even colder as the week goes on. I had to put my big boy pants on today. My legs were turning blue from the cold!!!! So, how is the weather in ya'll's neck of the woods?

We are having a heat wave here in MA. It was 60 yesterday and 54 today. May be a beach day.

We booked last week for the Sept. Panama Canal cruise. Very excited. We have never been on a cruise but are Disney park pros. Sept can't get here fast enough!!!!! I am sure I will have tons of questions about cruising. My first question...Are there San Diego hotels that will take you to the port?

It's 40s and rainy, like hard, scary, windy heavy rain. I have a skylight in my bathroom, and have been enjoy just sitting in the bathroom listening to the storms. As a family we even ran-walked a 5k in 40mph+ gusts of wind- with constant wind going, heavy rain, and could've sworn there were ice pieces in that rain. I am kinda' craving snow.

Mildly cruise related: I bought a denim (really cute) dress in a size large. It'll fit my sister; here's hoping it'll fit me. It'll be one of those great dresses for the cruise, the one that checks off "can dress up/down/all around." Basically I'm saying- you maybe seeing a tiny me when we meet!

I would like to gilchrest94 to the cruise. We are going to have sooooooo much fun on this cruise. I'm not from the San Diego area so I can't help with your hotel question. I know some in our group have booked their hotel rooms and I'm sure they will help you and lynandandy with your hotel plans.
