Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

That would be nice i want to buy it

I've been checking as well. I tried to remember to look up the WBPC for an idea as to cost, but forgot and missed it. We always pre-order the package as that is my 'souven-ear' from our trips. Pictures mean more to me than tee shirts or knickknacks. And it takes up less room to have the cd.

Not sure about the "Memory Maker" photo package on board the ship. I know Disney does offer a Photo CD - and I'm sorry I don't know the price of the CD - on board the ships. From what I can remember, (remember I'm old, and I don't remember allot!!), it is a little pricey. If someone who has sailed recently can give us some idea of the cost?:confused3

our EBTA in 2013 was $399 for the disc plus $75 for all the prints on top - that was for 14 nights and we got 593 photo's so we think it was great value and will be pre-purchasing again this year for sure.

One thing, does DCL send out their photographers on shore excursions and take photo's? We were on QM2 recently and got a few extra photo's while on their excursions, oh and we paid $399 for only 8 nights, just for the prints making DCL excellent value!

Thanks Dee for the price of the Photo CD. That isn't a bad price at all. And you got almost 600 photo's, WOW, that is good. Looks Like Donna and I will be buying one of these as well. We've never bought the photo CD before but we have talked about getting it for this cruise, since it is a nice and long cruise. :thumbsup2

I must admit we knew we would buy the CD from the onset so made sure we made as many photo opportunities as possible!
For info, during the first week, the photographers were at pretty much all of the character meet and greets in the daytime, but by the 2nd week they were only out in the evening.

HI everyone! I am still trying to figure this out :) I would like to join the private facebook group but I am not allowed to send a PM to provide the email addresses unless I have posted 10 times. I don't want to post needlessly. Any help you can provide would be appreciated! THANKS!!!

You need to let Cayla (Padalyn) have your email address to 'invite' you to join the FB page. If you're ok posting here, I'm sure she'll see it. Maybe you can add yourself to one of the first post google docs that she is also on and include your email? I would still tag her in this forum so she knows to look for it.

Maryann, don't worry, just go ahead and post until you get up to 10 posts. Then you will be able to PM Cayla. We all understand. We were in the same boat as you once!!! See what I said there.............."we were in the same boat as you once", and this is a cruise thread...................:lmao:...........nothing...........wasn't that funny...........ok then...............never mind!!!

Seriously, just post something, anything, to get your number up to 10, you don't have that far to go. If my memory serves me correctly, I did that very thing way back when to get my posts up to 10 so I could PM someone. It's done all of the time. So get busy there girl and start posting!!!:thumbsup2

Well, Donna and I sat down yesterday afternoon and hammered out our decisions on excursions for all of the ports. Now when our window opens up to book our excursions, I can go right in there and get everything booked. And, we did it all under 45 minutes. I'm proud of us. No arguments, no fighting, no bickering, just two minds working together for one special outcome. (Didn't know we had it in us!!!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:)

Good for you! We did pretty much the same thing though I did send the list to my TA and let her handle it. ;)

We did well, I'm a little concerned about the snuba, but I figure if I get there and I don't want to do it, at least Dave gets to do it. That's the most important thing. He's scuba certified though he hasn't been on a dive in years. I went all the way to my open dive, but developed an issue with my ear and can no longer 'clear' it so an open dive is out of the question for me. We both love snorkeling!

I have never snubaed, (is that a word???!??:confused3). I did see that on one of Disney's excursions, can't remember which port though. You guys should have a great time.

We are going to do the Jeep Drive in Cozumel. I use to have a Jeep a few years back and kinda liked driving that thing. Plus we saw Samantha Brown do this excursion on one of her cruise trip reports she used to do on the Travel Channel. It looked like fun when we saw her do it. Donna said she wants me to show her how to operate the digital movie camera, so she can take some movies as we drive along. Should be interesting. (But to be honest with ya'll, she will probably take better movies then I do!!! I have an issue of trying to get everything in one shot. So you may be watching a sail boat in the ocean and in less then a second I have panned the camera over to the beach area to see something going on there. (Kinda of gives you motion sickness when I do that!!!)

I believe the Snuba is in Cozumel. I don't remember without my cheat sheet! :lmao:

I've seen videos like that and had to stop watching...and I"m not prone to motion sickness and do the teacups with my maniac of a spouse...but movies that pan too quickly....:crazy2:

Oh you ain't seen nothin' till you seen some of mine!!! I have to supply barf bags to the family when I show some of the movies I've taken!!!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: (Kinda like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, I'm all over the place!!!!) Sometimes when I say to the family, "Let me show you some of our vacation movies," they go running and screaming out of the house. In my defense though, over the years and loving DW lovingly pointing out my mistakes, I have gotten allot better. Thankfully for everyone's stomach.:lmao::lmao::lmao: (Mine too, I have to admit.)

Getting there, 6th post. We are heading to Vero Beach on Saturday :). One of my favorite places ever!

This is our 5th cruise, we have been on all the ships. Our last cruise was the Fantasy Sept 2013 and the weather was icky the whole week, except on the Castaway Cay Day. We still had a fabulous time!

:firefight My son Nathan is a firefighter, he's in the cabin across the hall from me! He and his wife will be celebrating their second anniversary on the cruise.
