I have never snubaed, (is that a word???!??). I did see that on one of Disney's excursions, can't remember which port though. You guys should have a great time.

We are going to do the Jeep Drive in Cozumel. I use to have a Jeep a few years back and kinda liked driving that thing. Plus we saw Samantha Brown do this excursion on one of her cruise trip reports she used to do on the Travel Channel. It looked like fun when we saw her do it. Donna said she wants me to show her how to operate the digital movie camera, so she can take some movies as we drive along. Should be interesting. (But to be honest with ya'll, she will probably take better movies then I do!!! I have an issue of trying to get everything in one shot. So you may be watching a sail boat in the ocean and in less then a second I have panned the camera over to the beach area to see something going on there. (Kinda of gives you motion sickness when I do that!!!)

Puerto Vallarta- zip line
Cabo - we're not doing much on this one. Probably take a taxi into town and hang around. Nothing was that exciting to us.
Cartanga - tour with you guys.
Cozumel- cavern tour in playa del Carmen.

Pretty excited about these choices.

Nice! PIF date is only two days away. I checked cabin availability and it's still looking pretty wide open. Doesn't look like many verandah's are opening up though.

Cabo - we're not doing much on this one. Probably take a taxi into town and hang around. Nothing was that exciting to us.

Nice choices Steve. I wouldn't mind doing a zip line, but do they offer them only about a foot off the ground???

5th post : I feel like a rebel

I know, right???

Getting there, 6th post. We are heading to Vero Beach on Saturday . One of my favorite places ever!

I want to go there...we just never seem to get it scheduled!

This is our 5th cruise, we have been on all the ships. Our last cruise was the Fantasy Sept 2013 and the weather was icky the whole week, except on the Castaway Cay Day. We still had a fabulous time!

Yay! After this one, you will be GOLD!!!

We are from south coastal Massachusetts. Any other New Englanders here?

My son Nathan is a firefighter, he's in the cabin across the hall from me! He and his wife will be celebrating their second anniversary on the cruise.

What an awesome anniversary trip!

feeling kinda bummed... seems that if you have Diabetes they won't let you do some of the excursions...Jeep excursion being one of them...if your Diabetes is well-controlled and you're not Insulin dependent why can't you go on that excursion....

How did they find out? If your diabetes is regulated by diet and possibly oral meds, did you even need to tell them?

Probably ordered a diabetic diet. As a nurse I can understand the reticence. A low blood sugar emergency could be a big problem in some more rural areas. Missed meal, slight illness, or over exertion could bring it on without warning. If you are not on any meds and are diet controlled then it'd be worth a call to get the restriction lifted.

I haven't said anything but on the excursions list, it says if your diabetic, you can't participate in the excursion. I'm on oral meds and injectable Byetta twice a day. I could probably get a note from my endocrinologist stating it's under control. I've never has any kind of issue in all the years I've been diagnosed with it....oh well....guess I'll have to find something else. They don't have that restriction on the 12metre regatta race excursion.

Do I need to do anything else? I also need help with transportation from the airport to the cruise terminal, I am Flying in the morning of the cruise with a 10:30 am arrival time. All suggestions are welcomed. This will be my 3rd Panama Crossing (EB & WB in 2013). My very 1st Disney cruise was on the Wonder and she holds a special place in my heart. Looking forward to meeting everyone and HAPPY CRUSING!!!!

From what I understand, the port is very close to the airport, so a taxi wouldn't be too expensive!
This is our second Panama Crossing (EB 2008) and our 13th DCL cruise! Our very first was on the Wonder as well, but we have not sailed on her since!!! So excited to be back aboard!! Looking forward to meeting you as well!
