Correct me if I'm wrong....but we don't need passports for the bahamas cruise until 2008. :confused3

Correct, but many are getting them in case something happens while in another country and they have to fly back. Plus, they say it's easier with just a passport. We haven't got passports yet, and we won't for this trip. I don't want to risk sending out our birth certificates and not having them or a passport for the cruise.

Well, we all have one except for DD---which I need to get before we head to the UK...just crossing fingers that our interview with immigration goes well and Mr. Brit gets his green card stamp. :cool1:

Is your DD going on the cruise? She looks like she may be near my DD's age (almost 8.)

Just 4 weeks away now, cruisers! My family and I went clothes shopping yesterday for our trip...so all I have to do is put the clothes in the suitcase and I'm that much closer to being packed & ready!

We've bought some clothes and travel items this week. I even packed a few things we won't need between now and then. This week I found some Easter baskets on sale at Target that had some POTC stuff inside, a map, hook, eye patch. My DD is excited to use some of it for pirate night.

I can't believe it's almost here. I booked this bad boy January 06, and was wondering if it would ever get here. Anyhow, I have to prepare my students for their final exams before we go. I had to really beg for this week off last year prior to signing my contract, but as I told our principal, it was a learning experience I will be sure to share with my students. ;) Bottom line, we will have only one 25th anniversary! She agreed, and we're going YIPEEE....almost here.

Well, I'm a late comer to the boards, but DH and I are going on this cruise! We can't wait as it will be our first cruise of any kind for both of us! We'll be celebrating our 9th anniversary.

Coach Rick, congrats on 25 years!! That is so exciting! DH and I are also going sans kids but ours are little! (and I do feel a little guilty...but not too much!)

Woo Hoo!! 30 days until we leave for the Mouses' House!!! I am so excited. I bought some more travel items this weekend and we are going clothes shopping next weekend and then I can start packing!!!! Hubby thinks I am nuts, but I want to be so prepared.

Anyone elses hubby not seem as excited as we are????? He won't even help out with planning. Doesn't want to Jinx it by getting excited. Seems he is like that on every vacation. Oh well at least he gets excited when we leave for the airport! LOL.

Myself and my son are getting excited by listening to my disney collections cds in the car. His favorite right now is the "disneyland electrical parade" song and its a Small World! Oh boy.

OH and he also wants to see where Peter Pan lives. This kid has high expectations I would so hate to dissapoint him!

I think it's almost impossible to disappoint when Disney is involved. :wizard: I'm starting to get really excited. I'm not sure what I'm more excited about the cruise or the 5 days at Disney. I want to look more into the pirate museum. It looks like something we can do with all 4 of us and it wouldn't take too long so we could enjoy some time on the ship while most others are out and about.

:cool1: Just one month left from today everyone! I've started packing all my DD7's nice dresses so that she doesn't ruin them between now and then. And I feel like I've accomplished something by packing some clothes. Now I need to find our pirate clothes for pirate night. pirate:

I am finally able to start thinking about this cruise. I had to get through a busy time with work and my son's First Holy Communion.

Now it is time to get excited!

We have our passports. I made Palo reservations for dinner and brunch. I've done the on-line registration and registered both DSs (4 and 7) for the kids clubs.

I need to make my packing list and then start purchasing things we will need.

We've never been on a cruise before, so I really don't know what to expect!

I just got my cabin assignment. Room 2044~ Oceanview Deluxe Cabin. (I originally booked a cat 12, guarentee!)

I am so excited!!! Now I just have to sit and wait:sad1: Ugh, hurry up May and get here already!!!

:cool1: Hey guys,

Just 3 weeks from now we're heading to Port Canaveral to spend 3 nights at Country Inns. Unbelievable that it's almost here!! Anyone in our group staying at Country Inns? This is the first time for us---we usually stay at the Radisson, but no ressies left when I tried to reserve in Jan. Hope I won't be disappointed. We'll be hanging at the pool a lot. If anyone from our group is staying there maybe we can meet by the pool? Have a good weekend everyone!:;) We'll be sailing soon. :yay: :cheer2: :cool1:

We are bravely driving up that morning from St. Pete to Port Canaveral. We have a dance recital late the night before, so we couldn't go up any earlier. I really need to start getting ready more or else I'm going to get so caught up with the recital (for me and DD) that I will forget some things.

We are driving to the Port the day of the cruise. I think it is 2 or 2 1/2 hrs, so not too bad. No pre cruise WDW trip this time, but we do have a post cruise WDW trip. Haven't even started looking at clothes for the trip (not good), things have just been too hectic at work. I know once May 1st hits time will really start flying. Need to look and see if I need to do any new door magnets.

See you all soon.

Carol
