KSF-Kids sail Free
MIL-Military rate
*GT-highly discount rooms. You would book a IGT for inside, OGT for oceanview, or VGT for veranda.

In the past Disney has just applied the KSF to already booked rooms
. They could always change that. With the military rate it has to be a new reservation, so would have to cancel and lose either deposit or % of fare, depending on when the rate came out. *GT has to also be a new reservation as well.

HTH

Trying for this now!!!:thumbsup2 I tried and failed....didn't see that it was for Canadian residents....duh! I did recommend to my dad's TA for the military discount. Here's to hoping.

So this morning I ran out of conditioner in the shower. I had my daughter hand me some of our DCL conditioner. I got out of the shower and had her smell my hair......we both freaked out! We wish the cruise was this week!!!!!:cheer2:

I must be the only person in the world who cant stand the shampoo and conditioner!!:rotfl2:

The first cruise I wasn't crazy about it. It seems like you just have to use more of it. It is not the highest end, like the kind that you barely have to use any, but we do like it now! :goodvibes The smell takes us right back to the ship!

I can so understand this. Just before our November trip, I noticed that one of the big UK department store chains has started to stock H2O+ products including the Spa range. I was overjoyed. Now every time I have a shower I get reminded of our cruises.

So I have been kayaking before, but during the summer in Virginia. Penny and I are going on the lake kayaking excursion, but I am concerned about what footwear and clothing to take. I assume the water is not warm and I assume that one has to walk into the water to climb into the kayak? Maybe I am over thinking.

Thank you so much! DH called today, they said we were eligible for the credit, so our travel agent called back and got us a credit for it.

We were able to - the Disney person told us that they'll do a limited number of credits this way (I'm guessing that's why it said new reservations). Our travel agent called earlier today & got us the credit. :thumbsup2

Yay! More money for all the things I'll buy onboard ;)

Ok, I could problably be at the port in less than 2 hours depending on customs time. I live so close to you. I wan that credit!!

Where abouts (general area) are in you WA if you don't mind me asking? I grew up in Whatcom County (Lynden, Ferndale, Blaine) & still go down several times a year to see people/shop, etc. I can't believe how much Whatcom has grown since I lived there (about 8 years ago).

I totally understand the frustration about not getting the discount. I'm wondering if there's less taxes/Port fees if the passengers are Canadian residents and that's why it's only offered to us right now.

I've booked GTY cabins before so I know the drill, but that doesn't prevent me from getting a littly antsy. We have a 5C GTY booked.

Arlington in Snohomish County. Just two counties south of the border.
Much closer to port than many parts of Canada.

Oh you are fairly close then! I sort of know that area - we used to have friends that lived in Arlington, but it's been a really long time since I've been there as they moved when I was younger.

Now if they'd only put a permanent Disney Character Outlet in the Tulalip or Burlington outlets, we'd be golden :thumbsup2

Are FE gifts usually given anonymously or are they usually tagged in some way so we can know who they’re from? Just asking so I can make sure to do it right :)

Thanks,

Hi all! I've been watching your thread for a while. I'm going on the June 3-10 Alaskan cruise. I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to write a quick post from your trip on the "ever changing still uncertain" fate of pirate versus Pixar night??? I told my cruise mates I would ask.....

Hi! I have been told that the fish extender gifts started out as a sort of secret santa gift exchange! Some folks include their names and some do not. We have a little card that we like to include with our names and cabin number on one side, and our picture on the other. We have met some nice folks this way that we might have missed otherwise! Aloha, Karen and Ron:goodvibes

I am interested in two tiaras!
Thanks

Hi Jottmom,

I just returned from my birthday cruise and am catching up. I will set aside 2 tiaras for you. I'm so excited to go on this B2B cruise. I had a wonderful time with my best friend but the quality of this other cruise line was just not there. Tried some new ports and repeated 2. See you soon!

It is really down to personal preference. I used to not label my gifts and then I started getting free business cards from Vistaprint with my DIS name, real name and email address on it.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I posted a file to the Facebook group of a text document that my DH & I were working on of our favourite places in Vancouver. It's just a couple of places that we love as locals :) If you have questions or can't access it on Facebook, let me know (I can email it). :thumbsup2

We finally found out YESTERDAY the official last day of school for our kiddos so we just booked! DH & I sailed roundtrip form Seattle on the Celebrity Infinity a few years ago and wanted to do Alaska again with our nine-year-old twin boys who've been begging for another DCL cruise ever since we got off the Magic two years ago.

Off to catch up on this thread & at Facebook!
