Wonder cabin 7563 anyone? (or Category 11/Deck 7)?

We've booked this stateroom for our December 2, 2004 cruise. When we cruised previously, we were on Deck 2 midship.

Since we booked a category 11 ASSUMING that we'd end up in the category 11 room (not getting our hopes up about or expecting a surprise upgrade), I need reassurance about this location. We think we'll be okay with the "no window" aspect of it....

Are we so high up in the ship that we're going to be seasick?
Is this a good location (deck 7)?

Bumping with a revised subject line. Maybe someone has done the category 11 deck 7 staterooms?

We were in room 7127 cat. 11 aft. for 2 Wonder trips. We will have the same room on the magic in June. We are a dh, ds-13 and myself. We had plently of room. We really didn't spend much time in it anyway. I'm hoping that we will get more time to relax in it on the 7-night.

It is great to sleep in because there are no windows. We used the "secret" aft deck for our verandah needs. We were always by ourselves.

Have fun!

I loved that level. I didn't have any problems at all

We were in 7567 in September. We liked it enough to book the same room for thi November.

mary jo - i read your post and went to your trip report - loved it! One of the best I've ever read. I'm staying on Level 7 too in May. I think it's 7556. Never cruised before, but am a disney fanatic. Your report was really useful especially the pics. thanks for sharing.

It was my understanding that the higher you were on the ship the smoother the ride. Since I've never cruised before, is this really the case? My 6yr old gets motion sickness so we wanted to book the smoothest ride possible.

We are going on 2/29 cruise also. We will be close to you. We have cabins 7541 & 7543. Maybe we'll run into you. I can't believe it's almost here.:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:We also have an DS who is 11.

we will be neighbors. LOL

I'm sure we will bump into each other at some point.

We cannot wait either. We will be leaving Long Island 3 weeks from tomorrow. We are driving down to Florida. We booked the trip last February, and have been counting down ever since. It's almost here and we are very excited.

It is our first cruise, heck, our first "vacation" (with the exception of 2 road trips) since dh and I got married 15 years ago!!

We might have to make it a point to go on a cruise every year from now on.
