For those of you who have eaten here, can you get the specials on the dining plan like the chicken meals? I read in someone's review that they couldn't. Would you eat here again? :confused3

Would you eat here again?

No.

We were there about a week ago. It was around 7pm and the place was quite busy. While waiting in line a manager came by asking everyone in line if they were on the DDP. He explained they were having computer issues but would take all our info down by hand and enter it that way when the computer was working. When I got to the counter I ordered two meals, one cheese pizza and one spinach pizza. The order taker was snippy and rushed me through. He took our info down on paper. When the food arrived it was average at best, nothing special to make me ever order it again. The plates of BBQ chicken I saw others having looked way better than our pizza.

Anyway, the next day I discovered an error in the number of CS credits we had remaining. Turns out WGP express had charged us for four meals when I'd only ordered and received two. I had to spend some time at the guest relations desk of our resort sorting it out with my copies of the receipts.

The average food, crazy busy-ness, abrupt and unhappy cashier, and the overcharging of credits is why I can safely say that this will be a "NO" for future visits we make to WDW.

Sorry to hear of jkmmah's experience. We found this and Tusker House to be our absolute favorite CS of the trips. Love the food at Wolfgang, while the waitstaff was not overly friendly, they were professional and the food was terrific. We also loved the breakfast pizza! Found this CS to be a great value in our opinion.

We ate at both the Express and the more upscale Cafe. Both times we were on the DDP and this was the only place we ate out of 28 meals that made us feel unwelcome. Both the CS and the TS were weird about asking us upfront if we were DDP (and no, we don't "look funny" or anything).

At the CS, we were going to let DD4 share a dinner with me, so we ordered 3 adult meals. The manager about had a stroke trying to tell us we HAD to order a meal for DD4. Um, no?

At the TS, the host asked us if we were DDP, and seated us. The server came by with menus, and then croaked "Umm, were you DDP?" while staring like she'd made a big mistake giving us the "wrong" menus to order from. Oh well for that mistake! Service was painfully slow to take our order, like she was trying to find a way to take back those menus - - food was excellent at both places but the manager at the CS told us flat out they are "not part of Disney" and the "DDP plan is not very good for them". Totally inappropriate comment to make to your Disney guests.

Just my $0.02 worth!

We had a really good exp there last month. Quick friendly service, great food, good portions and a good value.

The only limitations were the 10.95 items, which were two on the menu (meatloaf and ravioli). I don't remember what the special was but it was not excluded from the plan so it must have been cheaper than $10 =)

We will DEF return again!

Ate there about a week ago, again only exclusions were the $10.95 entrees -ordered the creme brulees for desserts and pizzas - both were good. Limitations on drinks however - only fountain pops or tap water, nothing bottled. We split this and two sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich between the four of us. WP was the better meal and better bang for your buck. In regards to TS we also did this one night - had no problems at all. We used 3 TS although we had originally planned on using only two and sharing (she was fine with that) and ordered one kids meal even though our room showed four adults. Dessert was fab (key lime pie, creme brulee).
