Wolfgang Puck Cafe OR Cap'N Jacks??????

I was just able to add a day onto our trip. NOW ~~ I get to decide where we'll eat...................... OK, so I've narrowed it down to 2 choices ~ I think!!!

Anyone with ANY info on Wolfgang Pucks Cafe or Cap'N Jacks, both at Downtown Disney, PLEASE share. Which one would you choose and why???

Also, just to clarify, these are both on the dining plan and are 1 TS right???

I haven't eaten at either, but posted a similar thread when trying where to dine. I overwhelmingly was told to eat at WPC. So that's where we made our ADR. I just had a friend return from Philly and at at the one there and raved about it. Hope that helps a little!

Thanks!!! Is Cap'N Jacks not good?? or what?? We LOVE seafood, and I had thought about the lobster tails........?? WPC's menu does look awesome though!!!

There were some limitations on what you could order at each place on the dining plan, at least last time I read it (which was a while ago). You may not be able to get lobster at CNJ's.

Regardless, my pick would be Puck's - hands down. YUM!

I love WPC!!! I originally had not booked it for our upcoming trip, just because we were going to try new places. But when I had read the new 2007 DDP rules and that WPC was to be omitted from the 2007 dining plan, I quickly changed our plans to include WPC. We had loved everything we have ever ordered. And when our bill was over $200 last year, I wanted to include this one during free dining!!

Haven't been to WGP, but CJ is very good. Been there 3 times now.

Wolfgang's has better quality food, so that is my choice between the two.

It would be Capn' Jack's for us over these two.
If you want to try the meatloaf from WGP, go to the Express version and eat it for half the price.
I like the Express. Don't care for the Cafe. I have not ever tried the upstairs version.
I have a co worker who ate at WGP last Saturday was not impressed, with service or food at the cost of the meal. Underwhelmed all around I think. And that has been my impression twice I have tried WGP. I don't see a third attempt in our future.
CJ we would not hesitate to return to for any meal.

I've never been to WGP, but we did eat at Capt Jacks last year during the free dining and we will be going back this Sept.

The crab cakes appitizer was really good and as was the twin lobster tails. Capt Jacks also now accepts ADR's. We are really looking forward to going back.

Cheese raviloi at WGP was sooooooo good!!! I can't wait to go back and have more! Good service and great view if you sit outside, too.
