Beach club or Poly Pool?

We live locally and are going to do a quick 1 night at poly or beach club for my son’s 3rd birthday in August. We also have a 4.5 year old. We’ve stayed at Poly and love it and have never done Beach Club. I’m worried the sand pool won’t be as exciting as a splash pad with toddler slides for them… does anyone with 3-5 year olds prefer beach club for the pool? Being close to parks is nice but with it being August, we will be at the pool mostly.
