Can someone refresh my memory of how getting WOC tickets works? Are they still doing the fast pass for the tickets? And if they are, do you still get them at GRR? And finally, which sections are the best to try and get?

Thanks for your help!

Yup they're s till doing WoC FastPasses over by GRR. They've updated the sections, and I'm still a little confused. But what I know is that I usually get the blue section and have always had great views from multiple places within that section.

Blue FPs are distributed and then Yellow FPs begin. You can also pay for a WoC dining package at either the Wine Country Trattoria or the new Carthay Circle Theater restaurants. These will get you passes for reserved sections within the overall WoC viewing area.

I was just in DCA on Wednesday. While everybody was getting FPs for Racers, I got my WOC fastpass with no wait. We had tickets for the 9:00 show in the blue section. We were down in the lower section and could see everything just fine.

Fortunately, we were able to ride soaring and then get in the FP line for racers and get FP for 10:15 PM.

Are the WoC dining packages worth doing? We are going to be a large group (10) and I'm wondering if we should splurge on this?

First, the dining packages are a bit in flux at the moment but in the big picture the packages are only worth it if you want to dine at the restaurant anyways. If you are doing the dining to save time or guarantee a good view, it is not worth it because it may do neither.
