WLV or WL?

IF you had a choice between staying in 2 rooms (connecting) at the Wilderness Lodge OR a 1 bedroom villa (will not use the kitchen), which would you choose and why?

What are your room rates? If it's cheaper to do the Villas, do them, they are nice. The bathtub and shower alone make it my choice. I think you can rent DVC points somewhere/somehow.

I am kind of wondering the same thing right now. Except it would be one room vs. a studio. I think I would go with the one room villa though vs. 2 connecting rooms if you are one family. The villa's looks so nice and who knows you may like the option of a kitchen even though you don't think you will use it.

I guess I am asking about the better resort magic feel (WL vs.VWL). If the price is the exact same which would you choose?

There is a washer and dryer in the 1 BR's! That alone is worth it to me and it's why I switched from studio to 1BR. The kitchen, extra bathroom, DVD player, more space, 2nd room and 2nd TV were a bonus!
It's the same resort so the Disney Magic is the same, if not better at the villa since it's like having your own apartment in Disney! What's better than that? Well, a Grand Villa would be.
I'd go for the Villa. We stayed at the BCV and I didn't notice any different "feel" from the other parts of the Resort.

No contest - the villas wins hands down. Nothing like soaking in the jacuzzi tub after a long day in the parks. The VWL 2 bedroom we had last month was on the top floor and had a cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom - it was gorgeous! Don't forget to check out the lobby at the villas and take a peek at Walt Disney's train cars (they are on loan from the Disney family).

If I wasn't going to use the kitchen, I would take the 2 WL rooms (if the price were the same as a 1 bedroom). The one bedroom units only have 1 toilet and then someone has to sleep on a fold out couch. I think there is more magic in the main lodge too.
