WL Woods view good?

Hi, I booked our stay once again at WL this year and this will be the first year that we will not have a Water view room (courtyard). I was wondering if anyone has stayed in the woods view and what they think?

DW and I normally stay in courtyard view rooms during our many stays at the WL. Last Dec., AP room discounts were only available to us for woods view rooms for our dates. We took this type of room and I asked when making reservations that we would like to have a room with a MK view. We were given room 5034 which had a clear view of the castle. We could see the castle, monorail and the fireworks from our balcony. We loved the view. The only downside of this room was it was next to the loading docks. This didn't bother us, but I could see where some people wouldn't like this situation. Rooms 5032, 5030, 4032 and 4030 might be a little better for most. These rooms are very close to the elevators that are near Roaring Forks.

On a few occassions have stayed in Woodsview Rooms. It was not horrible. We stayed on the side of the lodge overlooking the DVC (Room 6150) which was actually pretty nice and quiet. Check on an upgrade when you arrive, they may be able to accomodate you.

We loved it!! It was very quiet - which totally suits us, we don't mind walking a little further to the pool/elevators etc, just like a peaceful room!

We just got back and had room 4032 -- we could see the castle, monrail, space mountain and it was beautiful! There's nothing like seeing the fireworks while sitting on the deck or laying in bed. Okay, now I'm starting to depress myself being back in NJ, working and dealing with the snow and cold! Hopefully, only 18 months til our next trip!
