WL trip 9/7-9/14, day five

Finally, our MK day! We were there before 8:00 and got to the see the official opening which was cute. We headed straight to Dumbo (dd's favorite) and rode twice without getting back in line. We then rode the pooh ride which of course dd didn't like because of the storm scene and the dark. Headed over to the teacups and rode them twice without getting back in line. DD loves these. We then went to Buzz but it was down for tech. problems so we rode the TTA, which kept announcing it was stopped for problems but it never did stop while we on it. DD used her buzz light up toy to try to make it through the dark parts. We saw Buzz while riding around and tried to find him afterwards for dd to see but he had left. Then rode the astro orbiter which dd didn't like since it goes faster than Dumbo. We then headed over to adventureland and rode Aladdin and Pirates. We also ran into some people from the same small town we're from, which was kind of interesting. We then went to the country bears which we all enjoyed. We did all of this by 10:30 and we were getting hungry so we headed over to Columbia Harbour House. The fish was excellent. Mom and I shared a basket and ordered another one since we liked it so well. Next we headed over to the steamboat. After that, we went to see Goofy's jamboree and my dd and sister had fun dancing with the characters. We headed back to the room for a break, planning to come back for the afternoon parade. My family went on to the park without me while I waited for dh, who arrived at 10 minutes until 3:00. We made it to the park in time for the parade. We went over and rode Buzz twice after the parade. The first time through, I had the high score (64,000). The second time, my sister won (115,000). We then went to the Indy cars (with me sitting out, of course). DD rode with dh. We started getting hungry so we headed in the direction of Pinnochio's Village Haus. DD and dh rode Dumbo on the way. The burgers were great at Pinnochio's. We went to Toontown next and my sister took dd on Goofy's barnstormer which she apparently liked until the end. We met the characters in the Hall of Fame and Mickey at his house. We took the train back to Main Street and headed over to Epcot. We tried to go to the Living Seas but it was already closed. Everyone rode test track except dd and I. We did a little shopping for a Dumbo for dd. We then headed over to World Showcase and grabbed a bench for illuminations. Dad and dd held the bench while the rest of us went for food. DH had the chicken schnitzel (sp?) from Germany which he said was very good (it didn't look good). I had a funnel cake. We all loved illuminations, especially when you get to sit down to watch it. We made it on the second bus back to WL and looked around a little (mostly for Hidden Mickey, without much luck).
