WL room requests

We are staying at the WL in January in a standard room. I have 3 questions:

1. For those that have stayed in a standard room, any specific room I should request (and why)?

2. Can you get an upgrade at check-in and does it cost?

3. What are the benefits of staying in WL concierge??

This past August we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge for 9 days and a few days before our trip began I called guest services at the Lodge and confirmed my reservation. We had reserves a woods view room, how ever upon arrival we were bumped up to a courtyard view room, which at first I was concerned about but in retrospect was a excellent thing. we were placed right above the pool bar on the 3rd floor and everything was accessable by walking down 2 flights of stairs of by going to the middle elevator. We were also Flag Family on August 19th and we got to see the concierge floor above the lobby, it looked really awesome but it was a bit away from the pool. Don't sweat the room thing at Wilderness Lodge, you will love the resort and have a great time.
