WL or Contemporary Feb 2016

Hello, we need to reschedule our Sept 2015 trip (staying at WL) to end of Feb 2016. Strictly doing MK and DTD for 2 days. I am aware that there will be construction at the WL at that time. Wondering if you would stick with the WL (kids, 10 and 7 were very excited to stay there) or switch to the Contemporary garden wing. Price is fairly close, just have never had a huge interest in staying at the Contemporary (no reason why, has just never jumped out at me). Have stayed at the Poly before and can't swing the $ for the GF, so it comes down to these two. Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would stay at WL. The only upside to the Contemporary (stayed there a long time ago) is the monorail and ability to walk to MK. We have always liked the boat ride from WL to MK in the mornings.

WL is much better themed and nice to explore.

Even though there will be construction present during your stay, your kids should still have a great time exploring the resort. The pool is going under rehab starting 10/26/15 and no finishing date has been posted, so there may be no pool for your kids to swim in.. The wilderness lodge is a great option for your family and I think you should stick with it. The only downside to the wilderness lodge is that the contemporary resort has the monorail. Hope your family has a wonderful Disney trip.

My vote is also with the WL. There is just something about this resort that grabs hold on to you the moment you walk inside.

Thank you all for the advice. WL it is. I actually think my husband (who works in construction) will love roaming around trying to stick his nose in to see what's happening with the work being done. Thanks again!
