WL boat to Ft Wilderness?

Hello!
I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is boat transportation between WL and Ft Wilderness...but now I can't find it again to confirm. Is this true and if so, how late does it operate? Thanks!

Yes there is a boat that goes to the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary is also included along that route. The boat goes from 6:45 AM - 11:30 PM and it's the one with a blue flag.

You can also walk on the path between WL and FW.

hmmm...how far of a walk and where does it lead to within ft wilderness? after a day at the parks, we have an adr @ wcc and was thinking of taking the kids to the petting zoo and campfire sing along....not sure how much walking we will be up to, but would consider it if more convenient than the boat.

Path is 3/4 of a mile and it closes at dusk.

Sorry, but the Ft. Wilderness petting zoo has been discontinued. The only animals left are the ponies and horses, but petting them is discouraged.

If you're going direct to the campfire, it would be most convenient to take the bus from WL to FtW, as it will take you right to the Meadows, just a short walk from the campfire circle. If you take the boat or walking trail, you will have to either walk an additional 1/3 mile from the Settlement, or take the internal shuttle bus.
