Is anyone else excited like I am?? Sitting at sports camp with kenny this morning and all I could think about is what I'll be doing in 18 days!!!!!!!!!

Good to hear from you Servants of Evan. Hope you'll find "free" enough time to join us.

Gonna go work on getting the suitcases out, and the Disney box down!!

woo hoo i know we have 12 days til we leave
i have the suitcases out and open
clothes are getting organized
i have everything together in my dis envelope
i have my dis pin, neck wallets and other stuff in a neat pile
camera ready and charger for the cell phone
my i am really good shape i do gotta get over to walmart tomorrow to pick up a few things like lip balm, deoderant, diapers, wipes, and such but i dont need much

I'm so excited I can hardly sit still. I pulled my suitcase out this morning. My dining room has turned into a Disney Staging Area. We went to the Disney Store today to trade in my DS5 & DS2's money for Disney Dollars. They've been earning dollars for the past couple of months. They are excited also.

I went on Hotwire today and saw that we could get a room at Downtown Disney for $58 or a room right near the maingate for $30. I'm trying to talk my DH & my best friend's DH into leaving a day early. We check into the WLV on the 17th but we have park tickets for that day already so we might as well leave a day earlier, right? I mean everyone has that whole week off of work already and why waste a park ticket. I'm convinced.

So if all goes well I'll be there a whole day ahead of schedule.

I brought the suitcases down from upstairs about a week ago
Sun I took the time to figure out what outfits can be worn what day, etc. - you know what we can wear to character meals, etc.
Started putting WDW items in a pile too

Whats everyone doing with their pets? DS & I are gonna really miss our 2 bunnies. We adopted brother & sister bunnies (Tina & Turbo) early June. DS & I (and DSs friend) went to NH 6days over July 4th wknd but this time we're away 2 weeks! DH was home w/the bunnies before but this time he's joining us our 2nd week!

We have a dog, Parker, the first few days he's going to the Doggie Hotel as we call it. About half way through our vacation he's going to Ma & Papa's house for a visit.

Ohh pets - in this house that's a huge part of our vacation planning.

Dog staying at SIL house as we're having our hard-wood floors refinished while we're gone.

Turtles(2) staying at home with my mom in her inlaw apt.

Goats(2) Bunny(1)Chickens(7)Chicks(3) are staying here. Don't know why my SIL wouldn't take them to her condo also, LOL! Between our 2 older sons (19 and 23) and a nephew they'll be fed, watered, and their barns cleaned.

Our Husky is going Mimi & Papaw's house and a neighbor is coming over to feed the fish and 3 cats.
Clothes are hung together ready for packing, packing list is being looked over again just before I started typing. I still need the unscented ben gay and some more wicking socks.

So I talked my DH & my best friend's DH into leaving a day early. My DH called the Doggie Hotel and was able to add a day. One more obstacle for my best friend. She has to call the Kitty Hotel tomorrow morning and add a day for their cat. Then I can book the rooms!

When will you really start packing? I mean actually putting clothes and necessities in suitcases.

I can't really start packing yet because we need to wear our clothes for the next few days. I have a few piles of stuff I bought like new socks, blister pads, disney shirts but nothing will be officially packed. We are actually leaving on the Sunday the 13th beacause we are driving down and visiting family on the way before we arrive at the WL on the 18th. I probably will start packing the Friday before. I'm a pretty quick packer and it's something to look forward too unlike unpacking. I need help

All my papers and money are ready to go. I have $400 on my Disney Visa reward Card and the boys and I cashed in out big preztel jar of loose change and it was over $500 (most of it was my husband change when he emptys his pockets each night )plus each DS has $25 disney dollars. I don't think we'll need all that money with free dining but you never know

We're definitely leaving a day early! We'll be staying at one of the Downtown Disney Resorts on the 16th and then we can check into the WLV early on the 17th. Woo hoo!
