WL August Mini-Meet thread

Looks like most of the others are arriving later

Im planning on having DS14 at the rope drops Sun-Wed mornings
Last year I was up walking around the resort before Roaring Forks even opened! Then Id take my coffee and put my feet in the hot tub while watching the sun rise.
Also planning on the Electric Water Parade every night at 935pm
I wish Wishes (lol) was at 9pm at least 1 of those nights. Its nice to see them from the Contemp and after get on that boat back to WL.

Kelly - what resorts have you stayed at? WL your favorite? This will be DHs first time at BC and our first time at AKL

There was a DISer who sent me a round tin 2.5" pin last year, lime green that says "DIS newholidayx2 Im Going To Disney". I keep it on my fanny pack (lol, yes I still wear one - this has many pockets, wallet, etc)

That sounnds like a plan. I plan on being at epcot very early that am and then back for abreak. I am adding itnow to my itinerary.

I'm planning to be at MK at the rope drop,however DBIL and DSIL are going with us and they are not such a get up and go type of couple. So we'll have to see.
But we are staying at the WL too so maybe sometime we see eachother at the pool.

i think there is aloads of opps to meet at the pool on random days
its gonna be hot so we are planning on taking more breaks and such than we ever have
i have no desire to go commando this trip

We are also planning on being at rope drops and hopefully then coming back to rest in the afternoon before heading out to dinner. I'll keep my eyes out for green mickey heads when we are at the resort and also in the parks.

You found some? I was going to offer some up to mail to you. DH is a contractor and at the Home Depot daily, he can refresh my supply as long as HD doesn't run out, LOL!!

Sorta NEish. If you're on I-84 heading east bound (from say Hartford going to Boston) we're about 20 minutes out of Hartford. Exit 68 if you travel I-84 often. Does that give you an idea?
Or if you've heard of UCONN in Storrs, that's about 10 minutes east of me.

Still have a lot of planning to do. Guess I better get a move on it.

We usually take an afternoon break everyday at the pool. So most afternoons you will find me by the pool/pool bar!

Anybody up to meeting at the Territory Lounge one evening? I can have my DH put the kids to bed while I head down for a meet. I'm not sure what time the parks close each night but maybe we could meet around 10 p.m. Is that too late for anyone? Or we could meet for coffee at Roaring Forks one morning before we head out to the parks.

I'm up to meet at the Lounge. I've got late nights on the 18, 19, and 23 but could head in to meet you when I return to the Lodge.

Can we make arrangements to meet and watch the EWP some evening also? Then head over to the Lounge after?

What time do we all wake up? Not sure if Alicewondrln or LisaRN would venture down from CL cuz they're all set up there for coffee - but maybe we can start a day off with a meet.

Okay, now I didn't check everyone's schedules but how does this sound:

Friday, August 18th 10:30 p.m. at the Territory Lounge. We might do EWP this night if we are back from MGM in time.

It looks like the only morning we are all there is on the 20th. I know AlexWyatt'sMom you all are leaving that day. We'll be out late the night before but I'll need coffee early anyway so how about coffee in the AM at Roaring forks or we can meet on the porch outside the main lobby. Not sure if everyone else are early birds but I'm usually up early so anytime in the morning is fine with me.

And the 20th I'm doing laundry so I'm already planning on being up and at 'em early. You guys name a good time and I'll venture out to RF's/or the porch to meet ya.

I am soooo jealous that all you have to do is venture out of your room in the am and you've got coffee!!! You don't even need to open your eyes for that!!
