Happy End of Monday, Crew!
I am loving some of the conversation going on on these boards -- I am lurking a lot, but perhaps I will get up the gusto to post!
Thanks for cheering me on! It is great how some of you can read through and respond to everyone. I try, but I just am not that good!
I loved reading about how you dropped your daughter off then cruised around for an hour, Mike. I never would have found my way back, which is one of the many reasons why I do not have kids yet (followed closely by no wedding, no money, and still rather young).
Good luck with your mom, Angie! What spurred her decision making? Will she be living with you? Really close to you? Sounds a bit stressful to me, personally! I'm sure it will work out, though, right?
Some of you are going so quick -- 3 miles in 25:00?! I aspire to be there someday.
Does anybody else find the first two miles of any run to be the most dreadful experience? I wish I could just run from mile two on...
I ran 5.52 miles today in town. I haven't run here since summer, and I ran the old route. It was tough as I am still sore from the weekend, but I still finished in 1:02, which is good. I am sick of puddles, though, making my shoes all ugly looking! Of course, it's kind of like battle wounds for shoes. I guess there are two ways of looking at this one... Also, I think i may be bruising a toenail. I think I will go paint them so I can't see it! I lost a couple last summer, too. DBF will just have to get used to my ugly feet!
Bedtime for this little lady! Enjoy your Tuesdays, everybody!
Ashley
