Leana--all I can say about that is "pathetic"! Heck, at least Oprah actually did the event for her t-shirt. Anyone can get the t-shirt--the medal at the end is where it's at!
Krista--glad to hear that Chi-town was fun. I love Chicago, love to visit, that is, not to live there. Too bad about the race--maybe next year I'll forego CDC and put the Chicago Marathon in it's place.
Judy--Woohoo on getting two dress shoes on today!
Well, got some xt in today--or I guess that's what you could call chasing my kiddos around a waterpark in 100 degree heat. I'm in sort of a slump right now. My LRs are getting really long and lonesome--I really need a buddy--anyone willing to conference in for a LR this weekend??
I should run tonight, but I am so tired of the TM and it's still so blasted hot. Nevermind me, Debbie Downer! Thanks for letting me whine a little
For some reason, I think I'm just a glutton for punishment, but I offered today to be team captain for my local mom's group for the Race for the Cure. The event in AR is one of the largest in the country--last year there were around 30,000 women--amazing!!! But now, I gotta round up the troops to register this year and somehow conjure up a creative gene and design a team t-shirt--any ideas?????

serves him right for calling me a dork.
This group is absolutely the greatest.
for your dog. It's so hard when they get to that age.
It was such an awesome weekend except for our missing teammates! Thank you so much, Lily, for being such a great race partner, even through the "bite me" zones (to use Coach Jenny's professional terminology!).
GOOD EVENING TEAM
GO BOBBY!!
OK done pouting!! For the first time in a long time I am very excited and feel like I have something to shoot for.
Yeah, to quote a line from ANnie (sorry it's not Disney) "I think I'm gonna' like it here!"
I felt bad when I saw the final results...we could've gotten your PR. Of course, we know we'll PR the full
