Good Morning Everyone:
Oh, I had a super run yesterday! A run where everything just felt perfect. The weather was great, my legs felt pretty good, it seemed like I was floating out there. Boy, that was nice. I did 3.18 miles on the hilly Mt. Hope Cemetery course in 32:16 or 10:08 mpm pace. Did a lot of stretching and icing after the run, but that was the best my shins felt in a long time. Thanks for all the PD everyone has been sending. Maybe it's kicking in.
Krista- I hope your knee pain worked itself out.

PD it gets better for the Pig.
Sunny- Sorry about the food porn, but Primanti's is sooooo good. Good luck with making your decision about the tri. Hope you have a great day no matter what you do.
Colleen- I like your girl's weekend half marathon. Yeah, that sounds different than shopping and drinks. Have a great time and enjoy it. So how long of a trip is it between North Carolina and Vancouver? Make sure you hydrate on the plane.
MelR- Half Ironman? Whew, is that a "training" run too?
Amy- How are your arms? 90 pushups?!? Wow...
Thanks for your nice comment
Anne; you're very kind.
Lynne- Wow, your tri sounded like it was brutal conditions. Great job. I am super impressed. Thanks for the picture. You definitely look like you are motoring out there. Good luck at the Minnie. Oh yeah, and good luck with your med school exams - can't believe you are doing so much racing in the middle of exams.
Lily- Don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like you are listening to your body, and that you really needed the time to recover. Didn't you go Goofy in Janaury, and then do the Columbus half just last month? Doesn't sound like you haven't been doing anything.
Dena- Hang in there and overcome your demons. I'm drinking from a coffee cup right now with a quote from Thoreau on it which says, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined." Also remember the DL>DNF>>DNS!!! How many of those people from your high school are in the DNS category? You are being the best YOU that you can be - be happy with that and don't worry about artificial judgements from outsiders. Go race this Saturday with your

and have fun with what YOU can do.
