"Without a Trace" I missed the ending last night!

Can someone please tell me how Without a Trace ended last night . I had to leave.

I was swithcing back & forth from ER, so I didn't see all of it. The two missing teenagers were found, one alive, one dead....and since I wasn't watching it that closely, I couldn't figure out which one! The show didn't explicitly say...just showed the two moms waiting at the end of that hallway and their faces as Jack is walking towards them.)

PS - Didn't Lynn Whitfield do a great job as Jack's hard-nosed/kind-of-nasty supervisor? (At least I think it was her.)

they didn't tell which child was dead and which was alive.

I thought that since a car was shown at the end with its trunk open and all the police around it that I must have missed something...
