Hey everyone. Our wedding will be on Tuesday October 25th 2011 and we were planning on a fireworks cruise to end the evening. It has just dawned on me that we may drop on Hallowishes instead of Wishes. I've never seen Hallowishes and just wondered how it compared to Wishes? Also do regular fireworks cruises run on MNSSHP nights or are we going to have to rethink our plans? Many thanks! x :)

To answer your first question, Hallowishes blows Wishes and every other fireworks display out of the water. It's incredible!
Second, Hallowishes only runs on nights for MNSSHP and that is not scheduled for 10/25 so u would see the regular Wishes for your fireworks cruise.

Thanks for the reply. Might have to arrange seeing Hallowishes one of the other nights that we are there being as it is so good! :)

I know this probably is not the place to post this but.....
Is MNSSHP that great? My DF and I will be down there and we discussed it but the website doesn't really sell us on it for the amount it costs for tickets?

I will say yes! To me, the fireworks and Boo to You parade are worth the whole ticket price. They're both incredible and can only be seen during the party.
The other benefit to the parties is the short lines at all of your favorite attractions. No line is longer than 10 or 15 minutes.
And there are fun trick or treat stands all throughout the park where u can load up on candy.
I would definitely suggest trying it once. I don't think you would regret it!

It totally is!!! We went two years ago and will be going again on our trip in Sept. The parade is awesome!!! Especially the grave diggers and the Headless Horseman!
There is a meet and greet with the villains too! The lines for them are kind of long, but we stood on-line to meet 2. So much fun!

The trick or treating is great and there are no lines for the rides/attractions.

Hallowishes is so different and great too! If you like Halloween, you'll LOVE MNSSHP!!!!

I just had a crazy thought... well kind of scary! Do they have the castle all decorated for this? We are going to have a mk shoot and i want the castle normal!

No they don't have it decorated for Halloween like christmas, But during the fireworks and maybe the castle show they shine fun things on it but that's it.

Anyone know what days Hallowishes falls on or does it change each year and is it the same time as regular Wishes? Anyone know if fireworks cruises are available on those nights?

there are decorations all over the place. cute halloween ones. Castle is clean except for during the fireworks.

Hallowishes are the best fireworks ever and so is the parade.

The Hallowishes fireworks are only on party nights. The non party nights will still have the regular wishes.

My 2 year old loves to listen to the hallowishes soundtrack on my ipod.

Hi Natalie,

I'm getting married on 5th october next year:goodvibes. MNSSHP dates aren't announced until next spring I don't think. My advice would be to check out the days and dates they historically held it over the last few years. I did this as I want a Wishes Cruise too and I found that they very rarely do it on a wednesday so I booked that day.

Might be worth checking it out before anything is set in stone:thumbsup2

Mnsshp is historically on a Tuesday, the fireworks are very impressive! If you go on youtube they have videos?

My DD was married 10/22/09. She had a dessert party at Sago Cay, and originally scheduled Hallowishes to be piped in. Then, she watched a video of it and cancelled the sound. The fireworks were great and we saw Hallowishes at MK, but she thought it was too "icky and gloomy" for a celebration of marriage.
Go to youtube, they have several videos of Halloween fireworks at Disney and you can judge for yourself.;)

I love Hallowwishes. My DF proposed to me during the fireworks on a specialty cruise. He thought it was going to be Wishes but it wasn't, either way it was magical. I highly recommend going to Not so Scary...my family and I go every year and we even dress up! Adults are allowed to wear costumes as long as they are not too scary and inappropriate. You can keep going to the candy areas as many times as you would like. You could always go as a bride and groom for your costumes:thumbsup2.

We plan to go to MNSSHP a few nights after our wedding in our wedding outfits. Great photo opportunity and the atmosphere is very fun.

What a brilliant idea! I am so gonna do this! Great photo opportunity! Thanks all for the feedback on Hallowishes, i've had a look on YouTube and was really impressed! If it does fall on our wedding day I wouldn't actually mind! :)

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! You are so close to the big day!

I have heard that sometimes in the last week leading up to Halloween they end up showing the Hallowishes fireworks every night, even non-party nights. However other people have said that this is not the case so I don't have a clear answer for you either way. :confused3

I love the idea of going to the party as a bride and groom! You are sure to get some amazing photos!
