Wishes Or Illuminations Cruise?

Why does illuminations cost more and is one better than the other? Thanks!

Although I have not been on either one, we are trying to book an Illuminations cruise. Our theory is that Illuminations is actually over the water so being on the boat is perfect. While Wishes on a boat would be neat, It centers around Cinderellas castle, and there is no water for a boat to get right under. You can get the audio piped in for an extra fee, but I just think the Illuminations cruise will be more "right in the action."

Can't comment on the Wishes cruises (someday...) but Illuminations cruises are great. There are 4 pontoon boats and the Breathless that raft off each other under the bridge near the Int. Gateway and the view is worth it. As previously mentioned, you are on the level of the lower fireworks and the globe with nothing to block your view. It almost feels like your own private show!!

Doing my 4th one in 2 weeks!!!
