My best friend and I were at Disney World in the last week of January and had the most fabulous time! We had never seen Wishes before, and ended up seeing it 5 times (once from the California Grill, twice from our balcony at the Wilderness Lodge, and twice from the Magic Kingdom).

We saw something that nobody else seemed to notice, and that practically had us in hysterics -- when the Evil Queen is talking to the Magic Mirror and says 'Let me see thy face!,' the next fireworks to appear are in the shape of a frowny face!

Bwah ha ha!!

Haven't gotten to see Wishes yet, but thanks for posting. I'll watch for that in June.

Umm...not to steal your thunder. But, yes, there is a frowny face in the fireworks. The winds, and where you are standing can affect whether or not you can see it, but it is there. Did you also catch the hearts?

It is such an amazing show! Most people actually miss the transformation of the castle into Mickey's hat during the Fantasia sequence because they are looking at the fireworks. I pointed this out to people who were standing around us, as not one of them in the entire group had noticed the castle.

Good thing you are pointing this out though, as some people might miss it.

Were you there when Wishes was stopped in the middle of the show and had to restart?

There are also stars and mickey heads and profiles too.....it is the best fireworks show. We were watching the download from the boards here and got goosebumps from that!

Watch for the part where the fireworks turn into Genie's face. That was awesome, too.

Yes, we saw the hearts and the stars and the sorcerer's hat and all! I loved how beautifully everything was coordinated -- music and fireworks and effects on the castle. The sorcerer's hat on the castle was especially well done, but I liked the hearts and magic mirrors projected onto it, and also how the color(s) of the castle changed to suit the music.

They made things happen with fireworks that I've never seen before -- I was completely blown away!

No, I wasn't there when the show stopped and restarted. That must have been interesting!

We saw Wishes for the first time in December '03. We thought Wishes was fantastic. It is obvious that we missed a whole lot. Can't wait to see it again. Thanks for the tips.

Sharon

Ok, I saw it twice last week and did not see the stars until I saw the download on the board!
Did I miss it or did they forget them? DH doesn't remember them either.
we saw the hearts.
I guess I HAVE to go back. LOL

YES! I have seen Wishes about 12-15 times now and saw a perfect MAD face a few weeks ago. It sometimes is upside down or sideways, but this one night it was just perfect so now I really watch for it!

Wishes has some of the most beautiful and unique fireworks I have ever seen. It really rivals IllumiNations!
