Hey guys!

I am finally starting my Trip Report. Some of you have been following me for a while. Others maybe not. If not, then welcome!

I am a 26 y/o Disney fan. My first visit was at 2 y/o and this years was my 10th.

If you have not read my pre-trip report, here it is:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2084607

I have just ordered my Photopass cd.

I have uploaded all my photos to photobucket.

I still have to go buy my prints.

I still have to load my videos to the computer then to youtube.

It's all coming along.

I have a lot of pictures for you guys. Although I have not taken pictures of the food, I did of my purchases. Is that ok?

So here we go.

Oh by the way.

Dates: July 19, 2009 to August 2, 2009.

Resort: Disney's Contemporary Resort, Magic Kingdom view.

I'm here!!!

How did you get your photopass cd done already? I just looked at the pics and that's it, did you just order the ones you had or did you edit some of them? I was under the impression it was going to take a little time to make an awesome CD. I hope it's as easy as you make it seem! The hard work is going to be putting together the photobook that I ordered!

Can't wait to hear more about your trip!!!

Date:July 19, 2009
Weather: Cloudy, and rain in the evening. 90F without the humidity

We left home at 4:30am.

A friend of my dad's was nice enough to drive us to the airport in Montreal. He was supposed to come and get us at 5am, but knowing my dad, he came earlier hehehe

I am like my dad. I hate waiting after people and I am always early when I have meetings of appointments hehe

The drive to the airport was uneventful. No traffic at this time of day(or night).

(Side note, my dad asked him to check the front door when he came back. And apparently, we left so quickly that we had not locked it. Oops. lol)

We checked-in at the airline counter. It was ok. No biggie. Everything was alright.

By the time we passed security, it was around 6am.

So we made our way to eat some breakfast at Starbucks. My favorite place. The closer Starbucks we have is 45 mins away, so whenever I can go there, I do.

My dad got a mezzo green tea and a raisin bran muffin. I got a grande caramel macchiato (the barrista almost forgot to put the caramel in. Thanfully, he remembered) and a blueberry muffin.

We ate, and then walked around in the airport, and grabbed some magazines. That's the best part about traveling. I am subscribed to "In Touch weekly", so we always get that one. But when my mom and I travel, we buy lots of gossip magazines. It's fun hehe

We got to the gate, and chilled. We had about 1 hour or so to go before we boarded the plane.

We looked at some magazines, I finished my coffee, and just relaxed.

To me, it felt like time flew by.

We then boarded the plane. I got the window seat. My dad often gets up, and my mom has vertigo. And I loooooove the window seat hehe.

By 8:20am, we were on our way to Orlando.

I didn't have that many pics. Like 15, max. So I edited them pretty quickly.

I did not use it as much on this trip, sadly.

I'm here Christy!! Can't wait to hear about your trip and see your pics! :yay:

I always get gossip mags at the airport too! AND I always get the window seat, too!

The flight was uneventful. Everything went well. No nagging kids behind me. A first, I think. I tried to watch "17 again", but got bored after 45 min. So I put my sleep mask on, turned my ipod on, and tried to sleep. I'd say I may have slept a few minutes, but not really. I was just relaxing, and listening to music.

After 3 hours, we finally arrived. We even arrived a few minutes early.

By 11h15am, we were arriving at MCO.

Our first stop: The restroom lol I had managed not to go once in the plane, but now I really had to go.

After that quick stop, it was off to the fake monorail to get to terminal B.

Now remember I was missing a DME tag? So we could either give the airline tag (that I had put aside before leaving our bags) to the DMe desk, or we could go get it ourselves.

Well Air Canada is in terminal A. So we took our chances and went straight to the DME desk.

I gave my info in, with the tag and the nice man typed something into the computer. He said he was sending the bar code and flight number to a computer upstairs and they would get my bag. They did not even need the picture I had brought with a description of the suitcase in the back.

I got our vouchers, and we were off to the line. The wait for the bus was looooonnnngggg. I think it was the first time it was that long.

We finally managed to get on the bus.

The bus first stopped at the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, the Wilderness Lodge, and finally........... The Contemporary.

Now by that time, we just could not wait to get off the bus!

Here's A Disney Magical Express bus. Ours was a Disney Cruise Line Bus.

As we went toward the Check-in desk, we were greeted by nice CMs. They told us where to go.

I had done the online check-in. We got to the desk, gave our names, and the lady took out a folder with our keys, and a few certificates and buttons.

It took less than 5 min. I was great.

Here are a few pictures of the 1st floor.
