Wishes Cruise Question

Hi.

I've heard several people complain about the smoke from Illuminations during the cruise. I'll be travelling with people with asthma and we can't take the chance that smoke will be blown in our direction.

Therefore, I was wondering if the Wishes cruise has the same risk for smoke?

If you've taken the wishes cruise, let me know how it was!

Also, is it possible to take the Illuminations cruise on the 35ft yacht and not have smoke problems?

We were in the middle of the lake for the Wishes cruise. I can't imagine that smoke would be a problem unless there were a major fire somewhere that was impacting all of Disney World.

Go ahead and book the cruise - there will be less chance of being bothered by smoke on the cruise than standing in the MK.

I have done both cruises and I would say it's more of a possibility of getting smoke on the Illuminations cruise. The Wishes cruise we did in May I saw no smoke whatsoever coming our way. Also you have to imagine that it's quite a bit of a distance from the front of the park (where you are away from in the water) to where the fireworks go off. Just my two cents but I enjoyed the Wishes cruise more.
