To Everyone Last One Of You Ladies and Gentlemen:
You're either really odd or really wonderful, you get to choose. To be so excited and early about volunteering is amazing. I will look for you all on the course Saturday and Sunday.
When everything is finalized, if you could come up with a master list of names and locations, that would help the runners a lot. It's amazing how much easier a stretch is when you know in a couple of miles you'll see a good friend.
Best

Craig, can we be odd AND wonderful???

You have to know, we had SO MUCH FUN doing this last year, THAT is why we are so excited to do it again!
I am keeping a running tab of who's going to be where on the first page of this post.
Kristi is heling me stay organized, thank goodness, but everyone should speak up if I haven't put you on the list yet.
Jeanne and anyone else who has a question about getting there.....You have to get to WWoS on your own, then they bus you to the Volunteer Staging Area (Which last year was right at the end of the first corral so we go to see those WISHers doing the Full which was great) then they take you to your appointed spot. RWS#2 was so close we walked right over. I assume they take you by bus to the other volunteer spots further away.
Last year when we checked in they gave us our windbreakers

and a box of snacks

and our lanyards.
When you are done with your volunteering duties, you are taken back to the Staging Area then taken by bus back to WWoS where you collect your one-day park ticket.
FYI, they are VERY SERIOUS about Security when volunteering so you must bring photo ID and they give you a lanyard with your "volunteering ID" on it and you must wear it at all times.
