Ok...I know, it has been a while. But we went back and forth about Lauren's Wish Trip and I found out what we would be doing last week...but then Hurricane Gustav came and really messed up my weekend plans! And I just did not have time to post all of the changes....

We did survive Gustav and are so thankful that we did not even lose power! Lots of tornados and rain, rain, rain...but very thankful for the folks on the coast, too. As this could have been much worse.

I just got back from 3 hours at the dentist- so I am in pain and now have to go to work. You are definitely going to have a better day getting ready to start your trip than I am-lol!

GUESS WHAT!! I experienced my first bit of Disney Magic! Pixie Dust!

Lauren said something tonight about wanting to have a nice meal with just her mom...so I thought...it would be SOOO cool if I could get her a meal somewhere really nice and fun! BUT...we are leaving in less than 1 month..........

I called the ADR line. And told them that I wanted a cool place for Lauren and her Mom to eat on the day we will be at MK... and they said....

HOW ABOUT A LUNCH AT CINDERELLA'S CASTLE!!!!!

Oh My GOSH! Someone had just canceled. A table for 2. So, Lauren is going to get have an awesome meal with just Lauren and her mom! How cool is that??? In Cinderella's Castle! WOW!

It's been a busy week for us. Tomorrow is my Ryan's first full day of Kindergarten. Hopefully I'll have time to catch up with you all after I get the boys off to school.

I'm so excited for Misty and Denise too. Soon we'll have some great new Trip Reports to read

We've been busy, busy over here. We went to the mountains for Labor day. Sebastian and Siennah had their first day of preschool this week. Today is me and Brian's six year wedding anniversary. Check out my blog for all the adventures.

Misty was asking about Sebastian...His other phone call from the Ortho surgeon was good. Now we are contending with a cough he's had for going on six weeks. We had him on Zrytec and it didn't do anything. Now we are trying an antibiotic. So far it's doing nothing either. He probably just has a little virus. Trouble is we have to be postive there's no metastasis to his lungs before we remove his port on the 15th. If the cough doesn't clear up we'll go ahead with an MRI or CT just to check things out. I hate being so paranoid anymore.

We talked to Sebastian's wish granters. We're going to have a "send-off" party for him the week before Thanksgiving. I'm so excited for him He talks about his "dream" coming true all the time.

Those of ya'll who had send-off parties...how many folks were ya'll allowed to invite? We have way too many friends ;-) I'm worried it's going to be hard.

I got a text---MISTY MADE IT TO ORLANDO!

Amber, we had about 60 people at Karlyn's wish party...Almost all of them were family. We Kellys are a large group! Make a Wish here told Lindsey that she was only limited by the amount of space at the MAW Wishing place where we had the party!

I have a question for you all. I know that Karlyn and her family will get to go to the head of the line but in some cases, do you think the CM's will let the other 5 of us go with them so we can be together or should we just plan that we will all wait in the regular line so that we can be together and not split up the group. I know 10 people is a lot but we are what we are. I would not be upset if a wish group that large went in front of me but I understand the whole wish thing. I thought of printing large circle stickers that say something like "Karlyn's wish coming true and we get to come too!"

What do you all think? I would never want to ruin a trip for anyone including us and so all 10 of us really would be willing to wait in the regular line if we needed to. We would just need to be careful that Karlyn didn't get too tired.

Denise, when at the orientation at GKTW you get a guest assistance pass.That has the number of people in your party and that pass gets you to the front of the lines.It's pre made up before the orientation.I would check that pass carefully before orientation is over- if you are not all included speak to the person running orientation and I am sure they can change if for you.They are really good about it.I saw several large parties in the wheelchair lines so I would not think it would be a problem.I am not sure about the character meets but I would assume that it would work the same way.

Amber, I think it really depends on your wish organization.For Hannah they didn't really fund a send off party.We decided to do it at our cost(just a family BBQ) we invited the wish granters and they brought a cake and balloons and gifts for Hannah.I would ask them what the policy is in their group.

Thank you Heather. We will check on the pass. With Character meets, we would mostly just want to be where we could take pictures of the kids not really take up time with the characters. Today is our last real day to get things organized as we all have to work on Monday and Tuesday. We also have to work in the BYU football game, the University of Utah football game and 3 kids soccer games this morning. Oh and Mike and I are going to dinner with our Splash Mountain friends tonight! ARGH!
