Wish Trippers...Unite!! Volume One

Nick's MAW volunteers were just here and brought t-shirts for everyone and brought Nick a nice sized lego star wars set and a cute little lab webkinz that he LOVES!! He was very excited at first but then took off and didn't want to answer any of their questions. lol

He asked for Disneyworld and then turned to me and said.. is that right mom? OH my.. how embarassing. ummmm if that is where you want Nick.... The guys said.. do you mean the one in Florida? Nick said.. the one with the haunted house. (I really am not sure what he means by that) the he proceeded to say.. the ride that goes up and then BAM! (slammed his hand on the table really hard) down. LOL.. So Brian (MAW) said... oh the tower of terror. hehehe Nick asked to eat with Capt Jack Sparrow, go to the Lego store and do the Jedi training.. but most importantly he asked to go somewhere far, far away in a plane and stay the night.

He is so cute! they needed a second wish and he said he wanted to be a Hedgehog.. lol So after he couldn't name a movie star, music star.. or name another place to go. Dh and I put down legoland or disneyland as a second wish.

So.. I guess around three weeks we will hear something, they needed three dates and took down, the end of Oct, end of Jan or end of March.
LLOL Dilly wanted cookies:eek:

Hi All,

I sent out two more packages of Pixie Dust today to Janel's (Lambflock's) family and Deanna's (LuvGoing2Disney7's) family. I hope that they arrive soon and you enjoy the goodies!:goodvibes I would like to do Maroo, Mom2lilnick and Oliviansmom17 next but have to do some more fundraising first.

I wanted to ask you all to please pray for Sebastian. Tuesday, August 26th is the big day that we have been waiting for. Sebastian will be having his CT scans at 2:00 and 3:00 EST. Please take a moment during this time to lift him up to the Lord in prayer. We are asking God for a total healing and that his scans will be 100% completely clear of any tumor. Please ask God to bless us with one of His many miracles. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for doing this for us! To God be the Glory…amen…amen…amen!
Amber, we are always praying that handsome guy. His pics on the fridge so he's always on our mind! The only thing you have to do is know that he will be fine and that God has you covered. You're a great mom and that is exactly what the little guy needs:hug: :cheer2: We are rootin' for ya!!

I called to make Sebastian’s next port appointment this afternoon and found out the radiology reports from Sebastian’s CTs had already been sent over to Blume--the pediatric hematology-oncology clinic. I talked to a Nurse who read me the radiology reports from Sebastian’s CT scans over the phone.

The first report was for the head CT. It was only one sentence long and was somewhat ambiguous but didn’t seem to set off any bells. Then she read me the report for Sebastian’s arm. It was longer and included a couple sentences about increased lucency suggestive of tumor recurrence. The report suggested an MRI be done. I tried not to get worked up and just asked that a doctor give us a call back. She said she would put the reports at the front of Sebastian’s chart and have one of the Oncologists call us.

Sebastian's Oncologist called around 6:30 p.m. tonight. He said that everything looked great! I asked him about what the report on Sebastian’s arm and he said that it’s just “remolding bone.”

Of course Brian and I want to hear from Sebastian's Orthopedic Surgeon about what she thinks about the scan and report, since she is the one who has actually been treating the tumor in Sebastian’s arm. So we’ll make that call tomorrow. I’d also like to get my hands on the reports. I’ll update when we know something definitive.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support!!! :goodvibes :lovestruc

It's been mostly sunny today. Fay has passed over us and we didn't get the impact that I was expecting thank goodness. We are all nice and dry. Thank you for your thoughts.

I lost my post...I hate that when it happens. I am so thrilled that it sounds like prayers are being heard and answered. They will of course continue but everything sound like good news to me!:woohoo: We will all celebrate when you get the official word!

Becca, Adults over 18 need a photo ID such as a drivers lisence or passport. The children don't need any ID.
