WISH Committment Week 9

Good morning committers, can you believe that we are starting week 9? I am back into the groove of my WW points, exercising and determined to get the weight off and to keep it off.

I have finished my 30 minutes on the treadmill with some of that jogging. I am eating breakfast (yes, I know late), but I am eating. And I plan on drinking lots of water today. I really want to see a smaller number on the scale on Friday morning.

I hope that everyone is ready for another week of committments and remember we love you even if you can't check in every day! Just remember that we are here in case you need support or a pat on the back for a job well done.

Going to check out the boards for a few minutes. I haven't been on them in a couple of days.

Hi everyone,

I got up at 5:30am today, kept hitting that snooze. My arm muscles were sore today too from the Body sculpt yesterday. Today I did Calorie Killer (yeah I completed it!!) and actually rewound the last step segment and did that twice. The first time through I just couldn't get the steps. I also did FIRM abs workout 2.

Well I lost .4 last week and considering I had binged on snacks on Sunday afternoon that was good.

Tammy- glad you are back into the WW grove. That is the hardest part!! Wishing you good numbers on Friday!!

good tuesday commitmenters!!!!!!! (is that even a word):crazy:

sounds like melc and tammy...you are both off to a good start!!

my commitments for the week:

1. drink lots of H2O
2. Run 2 times (one run at least 6 miles)
3. Stay OP with eating...which will be really hard friday and saturday!!!!) 2 major social eating bumps!!!!!! i have to really try to do well!
4. do a total of 5 days of exercise!

i realized i have been doing better with exercising. the last 2 weeks i did 6 times a week!! maybe that is whats getting me through all the extra weekend eating:D

final contest WI is next thurday 4/1...gotta hang in till then...
then i can just focus on maintenance:hyper:

last week i was at a 19 1/2 lb loss for the contest!! i really want to break 20lbs!!!! i have 9 more days!!

Hi Committers!

I have not been on the boards very much lately and I am sorry! A really busy week plus this Blue Funk which I seem to be in have not translated into much DISing. I have been able to keep up with my committments of eating well and exercising 6x/week, though, and I've especially tried to incorporate a lot more veggies in my diet. My body feels so much better when I'm eating sensibly.

How was Chat? I couldn't make it, as ds8 had his school play last night. It was called "How Does Your Garden Grow?" and he played a weed.:rolleyes: :p


Great job on keeping up with your committments, everybody!
 

Did a new thing today FIRM Total Body - didn't say on the cover that it was a total killer to an "oldster" - but it is!! I am feeling it in the legs tonight (Monday I did some lunges with Denise Austin, too) but someday I might be able to say "that I finally can sort of kept up" give me some time to learn the routine - then we will see :p

Hey we are awesome bunch aren't we - 9 weeks of committment - I just read today that it only takes 3 weeks to make an exercise a "habit" so we are solid in that category!!!

Not much time to say more than - WTG everyone and keep up the good work.

Evansmom you can do it - you mentioned one social eatery is the Japanese Steak house - I had the salmon it was good and all the veggies - so healthy - maybe just a glass of wine or 2 will keep you in check there :p Next Wed we will all "band together" sending a huge bouquet of PD for Thursday WI!!!!

I plan to be here early tomorrow morning cause I am anticipating a clippie change and let me tell you I intend to celebrate - it has been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long since that happen!!!

Okay it's really and truly official I FINALLY have lost the 1.5 to make it to 35 pounds gone - so you know what that means - I get a new clippie!! Hooray it's been a mighty long time since that has happened for me!

Did 3 mi on the tm this AM (walked 1, ran 1 and ran/walk the last)- and 10 min yoga stretching.

Just a quick check in. I have been super busy all day.

This morning I did FIRM Cardio. Only got in 5 cups of water. Maybe I will try to go finish 3 cups now.

back on line here -- i was without my internet tues-late wed:mad:

AEG -- looks like you need a visit from the clippie fairy ;)

i'm continuing with my 4 pts snack rule from lunch until dinner. To that annieT has challenged me to 4 pts only in snacks ALL weeekend :eek: and Mom has issued a 7 day challenge to me to follow a 3-food rule article she read. Each time I eat I will have to eat from 3 food groups and one MUST a protein food. Today was day 1 and success. Today was my scheduled day off exercising -- tomorrow back in gear though.

nikki - - PD to you for the weekend, we can commiserate together! I have my small group (couple bible study) on friday night which includes potluck dinner and sat I have a conference from 8:30 - 2:30, lunch included. there better not be any donuts!

on a positive note -- I did resist bakery croissants with homemade chicken salad that was offered to me for lunch today at my Wed scrapbooking group! I had my berries/yogurt/granola combo instead -- 3 food rule :)
 
I made it through the day, got my exercise in, drank a lot of water and am still within points and even had pizza for dinner tonight. I knew it was planned, so I ate accordingly today.

I am sending PD to everyone that they continue on with their committments.

I am going to try and get up earlier in the morning so that I can get on the treadmill. We have an early morning and will be away from the house most of the day. If I don't get it in early, it isn't going to happen.

This has been a busy week and I'm ready for a break!

Did my Denise Austin - Targeting the Female Fat Zone (something like that) this am - missed the )10 min) yoga stretching but I did yoga yesterday so I am hoping that I use that as carry over and "my trainer" won't mind - think she has a favor to ask of me too so bet it works (she accidently forgot to eat some protein with one snack - I am sure it was an honest mistake) and mistakes happen!

Dinner out tonight (carry-in) so - eating with that in mind today. Birthday cake all around the office - I just say "not today thanks" and it has worked so far (3 people celebrating birthday and thats a lot of cake - actually not too tempting - I don't like all that frosting) Ohmom is telling all of you right now - she does and she's glad that she is not tempted !!

Tomorrow is my longer walk - 6 miles - if it is not raining I hope to be outdoors for it! And drinking lots of h20 this weekend too, I have been lax on that.

Hey all- Didn't stick to my rest day that I was supposed to have. I did my new cardio tape (34 minutes) and I couldn't do most of the moves because I was lost so I really didn't work out too hard even though I was sweating. That is good because I can work out to WATP's and not break a sweat even on the 4 mile hour tape.

Tonight is pizza, and I ate out for lunch so I will max out on my points tonight, but thats ok. The key will be if I can be good over the weekend. I would like to loose at least a pound on Monday.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
 
hey gals -- hanging in here -- actually I had pizza for lunch! must be a pizza thing -- crispy crust veggie -- but still 4 pts per slice! it was good though and i'll probably use a few FP today

I've been feeling tired and achy so I did a lighter day today -- 2 mile WATP and then 15 mins toning/abs with my pilates band.

no snack today -- stuck to my 4 pts snack committment all week and no eating after 7 pm. the 7 pm rule won't pass tonight as i'll be eating late with our small group, but that's ok, that's not what i'm trying to avoid but rather the late night solo grazing

Today I did 3 new tapes. Complete Body Sculpting, and I tried out Express Total Body Shaping 35 min and FIRM Hips Thighs and Abs 35 min. I wanted to just try out the last two to see what they are like. This makes my 2nd Saturday in a row with over 2 hours of exercise. I guess Saturdays are a good day to do this as I feel more able to do it. Probably from getting to sleep in.


Molli- Thanks for push to stay OP this weekend. Last night I had my pizza and an orange for snack. Later than I wanted to eat though because we had to sign DS6 up for soccer. Didn't get to eat till about 8:30pm. I was 9 points over, but thats ok becuase I still have 25.5 flex points left. Exercise really helps since I get to eat extra AP points. I have 12 points left for today, and haven't even recorded exercise points. I bet I will be under tonight depending on what we have for dinner. Keep up the great job molli- You are doing fantastic.

Bev, hope you got in your outdoors walk this morning. I should do that too. Maybe I will go take a shower (stupid me hasn't even gotten that far into the day because I slept in and worked out and ate lunch. Thats it, lol! You really inspire me!

Great job getting to fit the pizza in. Sounds like you had a great day.

Kim- Hope you are doing ok. Hope you are feeling better than you have been. Even though your not posting as much, I still think about you!
 
just wanted to check in here and post that I'm fininshing my week still on target of my committments and with about 10 FP to spare for the week :) whew!

I will admit journaling everyday this week kept me exercising, I was having a hard week with that.

let's see I resisted chicken salad on croissants, donuts, real ice cream, GS cookies and cheese ball. to name a few. thanks gals -- the accountability has kept me in my size 8 jeans more comfortably!

and the energy has felt great!

I wanted to say congratulations to all who had such a great weekend and avoided tempting foods and who exercised even when not planned.

I was away from home from 6am Sat. until 6:30pm Sun. and I survived my 1st camping trip.

I didn't count points and didn't get my exercise in on Friday like I had hoped, but I could tell I had done a fair amount of walking up and down hills this weekend because last night my legs were sore.

My plan for the day is to get on the TM for at least 30 min. part of it jogging, eat three meals today and drink plenty of water.

I am also hoping to make by chat tonight, hope to see you there.
 
Hi all,

Didn't get to post yesterday.

Yesterday I did Fat Blasting Cardio and Super Cardio Sculpt.

Today I did Total Muscle Shaping and walked at lunch for 1/2 hour.

I did well over the weekend, although I had 2 of the tiny reeces minature cups, and even had a kiddie size Rita's Water Ice. Still well within my points and I didn't use all my flex points for the weekend.

Got on the scale this morning, and unless it really drops I don't know if I will show a loss this weeks. Sometimes it does drop during the day though, so who knows. I had a very filling dinner though and maybe some of that was hanging around this morning.

I plan on trying to make chat tonight. Hope to see everyone there.

Oh-mom - Great job on resisting all that stuff. I resisted donuts at church on Sunday and I felt great about that!!!

Tammy- If your legs were sore on Friday, you probably did get TONS of walking in. You are doing fantastic on your exercise. Keep up the great work.
