WISh Check-in week of September 7

I am down .5 of a pound this week and very happy with that. That puts me at a total WISH loss of 24 pds, only 1 more to get my new clippie. I made a change in my exercising this week as I needed a little more time to focus on toning, so I have taken my treadmilling from 50 min a day to 30 min a day and now I have the time and energy to get my toning time in. I figured that would slow my actual weight loss down, but I am in need of really focusing on the toning now.

Congrat's to everyone that lost or maintained, if you did have a gain, remember that it is just a weekly number and we are in this for life, not just for a little while.

Now for page three. Love that music, if I must say so myself ;-)

NancyK Another two pounds gone forever? Good job! You are very close to a new clipart too. You are doing so well and I'm very proud of you, sweetie.

CALIFLADY WOW! 3.5 pounds gone forever, way to go! You are doing really well with this eating sensibly stuff. I'm so happy and proud for you.

gillis95 Way to go! No cheesecake? What a motivation you are for me. Congratulations on losing 3 pounds in just one week. You are a success but it doesn't surprise me one bit. I knew you could do it all along. Be proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you.

perfectmatch300 WOO HOO!! Two more pounds gone. You are doing a great job with this. What a difference it makes to find the plan that works for you, huh?

Love that pretty new clippie in your signature. Don't get too attached, at the rate you are going you will be trading up again, soon. Be proud of yourself, I'm sure feeling proud of you.

tiggerlover As soon as you get back to journaling and tracking your points, the weight will start coming off again. Sounds like you didn't do so badly with your stress eating. Two Reeses peanut butter cups would have set me off on a binge, I'm sure. I'm proud of you for staying in control and maintaining your weight.

Thanks for posting here even though you didn't show a loss. I enjoy reading about your week.

Sue & Co. Good job! Two whole pounds gone forever. You're doing great! Are you feeling proud? I hope so, all of your WISH friends are feeling proud of you.

Beastlover Way to go! You are making muscle, that's excellent! Not only that...you are getting smaller. That is your true goal, after all, to get smaller. Good job this week, I'm so happy and proud for you.

sadeeyore Losing two pounds in one week is excellent progress. Good for you staying on plan despite that birthday party. What an inspiration you are for me. Be proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you.

jtbdas What is your new program? Inquiring minds want to know :-)

njcarita EXCELLENT! Six pounds lost in just one week, what a terrific beginning. Sounds like you have found the plan that works best for you, that's so important. My husband and I both follow Atkins and we still marvel that we can eat the foods we love best and still lose weight.

You are on your way to goal and nothing will stop you now. Be proud of yourself, we're all proud of you.

susan514 Love your song, got it stuck in my head, too :teeth: WOO HOO!!! Look at you go, another three pounds gone forever. You are doing great!

Love that new clipart and love your positive attitude. Keep this up and you will be at goal before you know it.

MKbound OOOPS, almost missed you, cutie. You're doing great! You are on your way to goal. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you for exercising and staying cheat free. Be proud of yourself!

msteddom WOO HOO!!! Another pound gone forever. Look how well you are doing. You are working your way to goal and keeping me motivated along the way.

Congratulations on the new puppy, he's your new exercise buddy? Good job this week.

I always start off with good intentions of keeping up but I think so many people check in on Sunday and Monday that I don't stand a chance ;)

This is everyone who posted to page three. Onward and downward, my friends!

So, finally on to page four!

maryliz That sneaky BF! Always skulking around waiting to pounce. That pound of fluid will leave you soon and a couple of pounds of fat will go with it, I'll bet.

Thanks for posting here even though the BF had paid you a visit. Hang in there!

arizonacolbys I'll bet that gain can be blamed on the bloat fairy, too. I hope induction is going well for you and you aren't experiencing withdrawal.

froglady WOOHOO!!! You lost a puond and you spent the weekend at WDW? Awesome! What a great success you are. You are so close to goal but I know it seems to take forever to lose those last few ounces. Just think you are merely 8 ounces away from goal.

Hope your fasciitis is all better very soon, I know how miserable it can be. Can't wait to see that red "at goal" clipart in your signature. I'm so happy and proud for you.

grlzmom Enjoy your cruise. Have a magical trip and hurry back here to tell us all about it.

DaddyDon Another 4.5 pounds gone? You are just tearing up that road to goal, aren't you? Good job! Lucky you to have a granddaughter, wish I had one.

I'm proud of you this week, you're doing great! Love your enthusiasm and positive attitude, too. Celebrating our successes is a very motivational thing to do.

Otto's Doll I'll bet most of that 5 pounds was fluid retention. Starting induction again is the best thing to do. Your headache should be gone by now, are you feeling better?

Good for you jumping right back onto plan. Good job!

Mermaid02 You lost over 1/2 pound, that's progress! Especially considering that you missed a meeting. Good job! I'm proud of you. Love your positive attitude, too.

DaisyLou2 Good job maintaining your weight, maintaining is proof that you will be able to keep this weight off when you have lost all you need to lose.

Do you use a food scale? I found that to be very helpful to keep from eating too much cheese. Weigh up your cheese so that you know you aren't eating more than 3 or 4 ounces a day.

Thanks for posting here this week. I find it motivating to read about everyone's week.

Nancy Maintaining is good sweetie. Not as much fun as losing but so much more fun than gaining, don't you think? I'll bet you show a loss next week.

Thanks for posting here even though you didn't show a loss, it helps us all when you post to the check in thread.

mowsie dreamer WOW! WHOOSH fairy visited you too? Good job! 4 pounds gone forever! Great feeling isn't it? Are you feeling proud? I hope so, I'm sure feeling proud of you.

MelanieC Look at that beautiful new photograph in your signature! Way to go! Two more pounds gone forever even though you were on vacation. You are a true WISH success and I'm feeling very proud of you, today. Be proud of yourself!

catherine If you lost two pounds despite TOM then you probably actually lost much more than that, how motivational that is. I hate that fluid retention stuff and I have a lot of it.

I can't wait to read your check in next week, I'll bet you do great.

Claire4dpins I'm so glad you are feeling proud of yourself. I'm sure feeling proud of you, sweetie. You lost another 3 pounds and reached a mini goal. Good job!

I have not one doubt that you will reach your final goal, you are too motivated and determined to do otherwise.

Whew, this is everyone who posted to page four. I'm getting closer to being caught up. I just love reading about everyone's week, I'm so glad more WISHers are posting the the check in thread now.

Onward and downward!

Katholyn

Here is page five, finally. I wonder if I will get caught up before it is time for the new check in thread?

AprilN Holy cowabunga! You lost 7 pounds in just one week? That WHOOSH fairy sure loves you. Good job. Love your new clippie, too.

What fun to have a goal to reach for with your sister. I’m looking forward to hearing about how well your CURVES check in goes. I’ll bet you lost lots of inches.

I can tell you are feeling proud of yourself and I’m so glad because I’m sure feeling proud of you!

JoshMom5 WOO HOO!! Two pounds gone forever. Isn’t that a great feeling? You will be trading up to that 5 pound loss clip art very soon, I’m sure of it.

You did very well this week and I’m so happy and proud for you.

disnygoof WHAT???? WHOA!! You can’t hate yourself. It’s in the bylaws, I’m pretty sure. “Thou shalt not hate thyself”.

Just hold it a minute. Okay, in the past you ate like crap. But that is in the past. We only concern ourselves with right now on WISH. We do that because we can’t change the past so what good does it do to beat ourselves up over it?

Christiana, I hope you don’t give up. You will never reach your goal if you give up. You can do this, you know you can. Just hang in there and don’t give up. Those two pounds are most likely a little gift from the bloat fairy and they will leave you soon.

Are you eating better now? Are you feeling better now? It hurts my heart to see how upset you are, I sure wish that I could make it all better. {{{HUGS}}}

wdwnutze WOO HOO!!!!! Look at that gorgeous new 40 pound loss clipart. It looks great on you. Don’t get too attached, though. I’ll bet you are trading up again very soon.

You have inspired me this week, cutie. Thank you for that. I’m really proud of you.

Baileymouse EXCELLENT! Sounds like that GBS was the right decision for you to make. You’ve almost earned that 20 pound loss WISH clipart, too. Way to go.

I’m so happy and proud for you.

lmhall2000 See? You were so worried about that reunion and you did just great! I’m so proud of you. Maintaining your weight after something like that is quite an accomplishment. Way to go!

ohMom Get a new scale, Molli ;) You’re doing great, I’ll bet you see 135 (if your eyes cooperate) by next weigh in. Thanks for posting to the check in thread.

jenanderson Way to go! You’ve had so much stress and yet you remained cheat free. What an inspiration you are for us. You lost four more pounds, too. I sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself. All of us here are proud of you.

I really admire you for taking accelerated classes. Regular classes can be tough enough. Good job this past week.

Tiger Lily 03 I’ll bet most of those three pounds are caused by fluid retention. Don’t you think so? Besides that you are exercising more, you are probably building more muscle too and we all know that muscle weighs more than fat, right?

I know you will reach your goal. You are too motivated for failure to be an option. Thanks for posting here even though you showed a gain, this week. I think it helps to post about the bad weeks as well as the good. You have certainly motivated me this week. You have a wonderfully positive attitude and I appreciate that a lot.

DixieDreamer Laura, it’s so great to see you checking in here this week. You are a great inspiration to me. You are doing Atkins by the book and you have been very successful with it.

I like the idea of concentrating on reducing your body fat as opposed to focusing on getting lighter. That is my true goal, too. I want less body fat. I’m pretty sure the Atkins plan is going to allow me to reach that goal :)

jdads2 WOW! Losing 16 pounds in two weeks is wonderful progress. What a great success you are. How motivating it is to read about your progress.

You’re doing great. I’m so happy and proud for you.

Mom2Princesses Way to go! The bloat fairy has left your house and you are newly determined and focused on goal. Good job. You’re doing great and I’m feeling pretty proud of you today.

Well, I’m getting closer to getting caught up with this thread. I don’t know exactly how I got so far behind.

Onward and downward!

Orignally this week started out awful. Litterally awful.
I was driving to work and a man rode between my car and the van in front of me and I hit him. "Thank god" he wasn't hurt but I almost collasped. Luckily I was just about stopped at the time.

Let me just say after that scare I gained 2lbs. I managed to get myself under control and loose those 2lbs but nothing else.

I am still shaking from this experience. Things happen so quickly, I now find myself finding reasons not to drive.

Hopefully next week I will get back to business and start loosing again.

bunnyfoo WOO HOO!!!! WOW! Another 2.3 pounds gone forever. You are doing so great. You will have that new clipart by next check in, I’m sure.

It’s going to be so helpful when your boyfirend begins counting his points right along with you. How great that is. You are doing so well, I’m happy and proud for you.

ibouncetoo My gosh! You ate cereal and you still lost 6 pounds??? What is wonderful. What a great beginning you have had with the Atkins plan.

Enjoy your trip to Disneyland. I would sure love to visit there again, someday.

lts862 Losing 4.5 pounds in one week is an excellent first week. You must be feeling very proud, I’m sure feeling proud of you.

I’m glad that you’ve found a plan that works for you. That’s half the battle. You are doing great!

geetey You know that I believe that maintaining your weight is a very positive thing. Good for you. I hope your kids are feeling better now and stay well.

Thanks for checking in this week, SG, you are a winner and you are definitely going to win this war!

leanne2255 Losing 3 pounds in one week is just wonderful progress, good for you! How great that your husband is going to be following the plan along with you. I know it has been very positive for my husband and I to follow the same plan.

I’ll bet you earn that 5 pound clipart next week, you are already so close. You did great this week and I’m feeling very proud of you–sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself.

jimmytammy Oooooh, you are so close to earning that new clipart. You’re doing great considering that you are probably building muscles. Way to go. I’m proud of you cutie. You are so close to goal, you are a wonderful motivation for me.

lynr YIKES! How terrifying. I would still be shaking if that had happened to me. Sounds like you stumbled just a teeny bit but snapped right back and you’re on track again. That’s what I love about you, your determination.

Thanks for checking in this week. I hope you don’t have another experience like this one, how very scary. {{{HUGS}}}

Okay, I’m caught up! Onward and downward, my friends. Thanks for posting here this week. You know how much I love reading about your weeks :)

With the change of the season I wanted to get all our clothes switched in the closets before I go in for surgery next week. So I did DS's first, then DH's then it came to mine and I was trying on pants size 12 from last fall. They were pretty big, so I went into the other room where I keep some extras in different sizes for everyone in a room of built in drawers, just in case. I tried on 10's which were still too big, then 8's which were very roomy, at this point I started to get excited because I didn't see that I was losing so much weight over the summer (too busy)....
Well, today I am wearing a pair of Eddie Baur fall pants that are size 6. They are a perfect fit. I can't stop looking in the mirror, really I can't believe it's me.
Since my baby sister died 2 summers ago I went off Atkins and gained a lot of weight. Now I feel like things are under control, I can go have my surgery this month and look forward to healing and getting back a regular routine! I have a lot to be thankful for once again...good biopsy results and another problem that can be taken care of!
Stick with your diets everyone, a change will soon be happening to you!!

Life is good:D

Lynn CC I'm so happy and proud for you! Size 6....wonder if I will ever get that small. You have done so well, sweetie. You must be near goal.

Be proud of yourself. I'm sure proud of you!
