How did you do??

An okay week here ;)

Where do I get my clippie ??

I didn't get to do my "regular" exercise....too busy with other things around the house. :(
I spent two days painting though, so that sure exercised some parts :teeth: My arms, shoulders and neck still ache.

My challege now for the rest of the summer, is having DD home  Give me strength!!

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Way to go Meriweather!!!!!!! Now go get that clippie!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

48 POUNDS!!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Congratulations John! Maybe we'll see a new clippie next week!

Congratulations Meriweather! I had to laugh about having your DD home for the summer. My DS has been home a week and his stuff is everywhere! We'll have to be patient. LOL!

I lost 2.5 pounds this week for a grand total of 30 pounds. To celebrate, I am wearing a size 14 jean today. The first time I've been in a 14 in almost 10 years.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Congrats to all. Thanks for the inspiration. And, Happy Mothers Day to our moms out there.

Nancy

I don't officially weigh in until Thursday, so I think I'll just re-post last week's results, and wait until the following Sunday to do a check in.

I lost 4 point something pounds last week, leaving me 1.4 pounds from goal. I don't have my info here at work, so I'll have to post all my totals later.

My challenge is knowing when to stop. Everybody is telling me that I should stop losing and start maintaining because I'm starting to look unhealthy. But my doctor wanted me around 190, so I don't know what to do. I want to look healthy, but I also want to BE healthy. So I may have to make a few more appoitments to find out exactly where I should be.

I also ordered the Power 90 tapes. They're run on infomercials all the time. You can find them at www.beachbody.com if anyone is interested. I'll start it on Monday and post a report about how they work next week.

Oh, and congratulations John and Meriweather. Awesome losses! :)

Congratulations everyone :bounce: and Happy Mothers Day to you all :D

I lost 1.5pds this week bringing my total to 2pds :D

I've been really really good on my carbs.......haven't lost a stinking 1/2 pound yet but I have lost 2 inches off my waist.

I saw my doctor last week for a physical- because I am insulin resistant I have developed polycystic ovarian syndrome and my whole body chemistry is wacked. So he ordered a bunch of bloodwork to be done and I am seeing a specialist for PCOS but in the mean time he wants me to continue on the low carb kick and to increase my exercise. Good news is that they did my B/P and EKG - my B/P is finally down to only double digits on the bottom and my EKG showed that my heart is very strong and healthy.

I am trying not to get discouraged until I see the specialist but its hard to be trying so hard to be good but not see alot of results. :(

Wow! What a great week this was. I just LOVE when the scales show those huge losses, it's such great motivation. :p

I need a drum roll here, please......

This week I'm down a WHOPPING -------> .1 pounds !!!!

That's right! .1!! That cute little .1 only need to find 9 of his brothers to equal 1 whole pound! WOO-HOO!!!

(I'm really, really glad those Weight Watchers scales are accurate to the tenth of a pound!)

Okay, I'm being a little silly. But seriously, this is a journey we're on. Some weeks will show big losses, some weeks will show small ones. But the key is that we're moving the right direction and that they all add up!

That ugly Bloat Fairy and his sweet cousin the Whoosh Fairy really make looking at your weekly numbers a bit misleading. You've got to look at the big picture to really see how you're doing!

My average weekly loss since joining the WISH losers is right at 2 pounds, which was my goal. I'm very pleased and comfortable with this rate, and I know where I'll be 3 months from now, and 6 months from now. I've lost a total of 30.1 pounds, and I can feel it and see it. My jeans are 16s now instead of 20s!

This was a good week for me. Onward and downward, .1 pounds at a time if need be!

Congratulations to my loser friends, no matter which Fairy's been visiting you lately!

Congratulations everyone!! You all are doing so good!! Truly an inspiration to me!! :):)

Keep up the great work!! :0

Well, my scale didn't move at all today-literally! It stayed at 0. I know I'm down some, but over 200 pounds?? So, I am off to buy new scales (I paid a buck for these. I guess that I got my money's worth.)

Congratulations to those who have weighed in already.

Meriweather, your new clippie looks beautiful. So colourful and happy. Just don't get used to it. Before you know it, you'll be trading it in.

John, 48 pounds in such a short time is phenomenal. Wow!

Nancy, I can't remember when I saw anything like a 14 in my closet. BTW, that golden clippie is SO worth the effort, don't you think?? You are aiming for that
GOAL, aren't you. Before you know it, you'll be there!

Dan, I think the feel healthy is the important thing, isn't it. Numbers are just that. Numbers. You are probably the best judge of the stopping and maintaining. Congratulations!

Kaylee, two pounds already? You are SO on your way (as the kids would say!) Well done!

Cyn, I'm so sorry that you are discouraged. You can come and complain to us if you'd like. But, look at you! You've lost inches, your BP is coming down, you are Heart Healthy and the doctor says that you can keep working the way you are. Awesome news!

Kathy, I love your attitude. It comes back to numbers being numbers, doesn't it? 2 pounds a week is great. I'd like to hope for 10 pounds a month, but it's been slower this month. Oooooh, and don't YOU look fine in those jeans! They really match that clippies shining below.

Well done, my friends. Keep up the good work!

One pound this week!! And I won't say ONLY one pound. I'm happy! This is the 4th week in a row now that I've gone down, not up or stayed even! YIPPEE!!

Also, due to a sore foot 3 weeks ago, I only made it to Curves 2 times that week. Two weeks ago, due to headaches, I only made it once. And this past week, due to an injured rib, I couldn't do anything!

So, I'll gladly take that ONE pound!!!

I'm now at 9.75 WISH pounds gone (gotta get that .25 this week!)

and

total of 40 pounds lost!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Holly, I look forward to this thread every week. It is one of my favorite parts of WISH. Just reading about everyone's progress keeps me motivated and determined. When people lose even one ounce I feel their joy (well, I feel joyous anyway ;) ).

When someone gains a half pound or two pounds or even 5 pounds overnight (that blasted bloat fairy is everywhere, isn't it?) I use the strength and determination of that WISHer to renew my own committment and determination.

When someone maintains their weight, it proves to me that once I lose all of the weight I need to lose, I too will be able to maintain that loss and not gain my weight back.

Hokey? Maybe. All I know is that that's what this thread does for me.

Now to my favorite part :)

Meriweather You are just doing so well. Aren't you glad you decided to delurk? I love watching you steadily reach your goal.

Another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you have a shiny new clippie. It looks great on you. You will be trading up again, very soon, I'm sure of it.

Next week throw in a walk or two, to relax after all of that housework and painting you do and you will speed up your progress a little bit.

You are speeding down that road to goal. Your success helps keep me motivated, determined and smiling. I'm just so proud of you, so you'd better be feeling proud of yourself :)

John In Illinois I'm beginning to think I'm going to just have to start saying "ibid" or something to you every week. I'm running out of adjectives and superlatives with which to congratulate you ;)

You are an inspiration and motivation to us all, yada, yada, yada. I know you have heard me say this same thing every week for a while ;)

Seriously, I'm proud of you. You will have a 50 pound clippie in about three days at the rate you are going. Is that a pretty platinum one? You are amazing!

NancyK Look at that gorgeous golden clippie in your signature. Just beautiful. Doesn't it make you feel proud to see how much progress you have made? Nothing succeeds like success, huh? Are you smiling? Are you proud? You should be, I'm smiling with pride for you.

Another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you are wearing a smaller size. You are shrinking :) What a wonderful feeling it is to be in control, don't you think? To set a goal and steadily work toward it must leave you with a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

You are on your way to goal and you serve as a wonderful example for me.

SnackyStacky Only 1.4 pounds from goal--what beautiful words. You will have that pretty red clipart any day now. Just keep on keeping on, you almost have the prize.

If I were you, I would thank everyone who cares enough about me to want me to stop losing weight and then I would lose the amount of weight I thought I should lose.

How do you feel? Would you like to lose a few more pounds? Do you feel healthy? This is a decision only you can make, Dan. I have no doubt you will make the decision that is right for you.

Thanks for being part of my support group, you are a shining example of success and you inspire me to just keep trying.

KayleeUK Thank you for the good wishes. I had a quiet mother's day and devoted myself to my mother the whole day :)

You lost another 1.5 pounds, that is a little more exciting that losing 1/2 pound, isn't it. Losing anything is exciting to me :teeth:

You are on your way to goal and you are making steady progress. Isn't that feeling of being in control wonderful? You have made me smile today, sweetie. I'm just so glad you decided to join us here on WISH. You are doing a great job and you make me proud of you :)

CynJ Don't get discouraged...you are getting smaller! Don't you think that's great? Not only that but your blood pressure is improved too. Eating a controlled carbohydrate diet is supposed to be very helpful for PCOS. I hope you see some improvement in that realm too.

haven't lost a stinking 1/2 pound yet but I have lost 2 inches off my waist.

Okay, now how can I make you feel better about this? I'm thinking.....I've got it!

Let's say you could trade. Would you rather lose "one stinking pound" and have those two inches back? I know what I would choose. I'd rather be smaller than lighter. As a matter of fact, the only reason that I am working so hard to become lighter is so that I can be smaller. If I could wear a size 6 I would brag if I weighed 300 pounds. I just wouldn't care about my weight. When you think about it the number on the scale is one of the least important numbers in your life. Your blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides are much more important. You are improving your important numbers and you are getting smaller. Sounds like you are doing a great job to me.

You are a success and I am proud of you, so be proud of yourself!

KathyTX Your sunshiny and positive attitude is one of the things I love most about you. Just think, you are 1/10 of a pound closer to your goal.

You know you are doing everything right and you don't let that scale make you frustrated. What a motivation you are, what a shining example of determination.

I'm proud of you, my friend. You make me grin with pride. You are working your way steadily to goal. You're going to make it, too. I know you are :)

Debbie Your scale is broken, huh? Are your sure the dog didn't eat it? I'm just teasing you :)

You keep us motivated and smiling, Debbie. I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress over the past week.

CDoobee You are amazing, do you know that? You had several highly stressful weeks, with your daughter being so ill and you still have made steady progress toward your goal.

You are so close to trading up to that 10 pound loss clippie, too. Good job. You are a calming presence here on WISH but you are just a lot of fun, too. You keep me smiling and you make me proud. I so hope you are feeling proud of yourself because you should be.

Only 1/4 more pound until you earn that new clippie. That is going to happen any minute now :) Keep up the good work!

Good job my WISH friends. You are all on your way to goal and you make me proud to say I'm a WISHer. You have such determination that you keep me determined. Thanks!

I don't weigh until Thursday so I have a while to wait yet. Keep up the good work everyone. Onward and downward, my friends.

Katholyn

Congratulations everyone!!

I did pretty well this week. I lost enough weight to get my 25 pound clippie!!! I lost 2 pounds this week for a total of 26 pounds. I went clothes shopping this weekend with my mom and actually went down another size. What a good feeling that is. So I just had to buy some new shorts and jeans. :D

I checked in on the old check in post yesterday, but I'll repeat it here...I lost another 2.6 pounds this week.so I'm down a total of 14.6 pounds in one month. WW told me I'm losing too fast and need to eat more, but I am eating to the max of my point range....I actually ate over my point range for 3 days because I didn't realize I dropped down to the lower level of points already! Only a few more ounces to go and I can trade up to my 10 pound clippie! Hopefully I'll hit that at weigh in on Thursday!

NHMinnie YAY!!! Look at you go. Another two pounds gone forever. Way to go! You got a pretty new clippie too. It looks great on you, very flattering.

You are getting smaller too. You got to get some new clothing in a smaller size. Isn't that the neatest thing? You are so successful at this weight loss stuff. Are you smiling? You've lost 26 pounds altogether, that's amazing. You should be smiling. You made me smile.

Be proud of yourself, Sandy. You are on your way to goal, you are getting smaller and you are a wonderful example for me. I hope you are feeling proud because I am proud of you.

Keep on keeping on!

Nancy You are just doing so well. You will have that new clippie in oh....two hours? ;) I'm teasing you but you really will be trading up to a new clipart very soon. You only have 4 ounces to go :)

I'm really glad that you are part of my support group, you help keep me motivated :)

Wow look at all my friends go! I love this thread. I missed my weight in this morning. The kids and husband took me to the beach yesterday for an overnight stay for mothers day. It was great. I've been trying really hard this week to kill off that 5lbs i gained while in gatlingburg last. week. My last offical weight two weeks ago left me lingering at 193.5 just 3.5 from my 2nd 10% goal and I have been there for two weeks now! I'm really ready to weight in in the morning to know where i stand. Hopefully i'll be back to the negatives again. I will report my findings to you guys. Happy Mother's day to my wish mommies out there.

another massive 4lbs lost this week bringihg me up to a grand total of 27lbs!!

Bring on the clippie!!!

Still staying on induction as last time I tried to move off it I gained 2lbs - Only a few cheats this week - the odd potato chip handed to me by Danny, some breaded scampi and a ½dozen haribo sweeties - well I can't say no if the kids give me things now can I??

Totally failed with the jogging - I just can't do it - my body is too knackered out. Just try later when I've lost a bit more and I've bought jogging pants I don't have to keep hitching up as I go.

I have bumped the speed of my walking up - much to Zach's dismay as now I can keep up with him - lol !! Averaging about 5 miles a day now during the week and a couple a day at the weekend.

My first week with WISH and I've lost 1 pound. Still at least I'm moving in the right direction now if I could just pick up speed.......

WOO-HOO!!!! I weighed in this morning and I am down 3 pounds for the week. That puts me at a total loss of 17 pounds!!!!! :)

2 more pounds until a new point range and only 3 more pounds until that 20 lb. clippie is MINE!!!! :)
