Holly, I look forward to this thread every week. It is one of my favorite parts of WISH. Just reading about everyone's progress keeps me motivated and determined. When people lose even one ounce I feel their joy (well, I feel joyous anyway

).
When someone gains a half pound or two pounds or even 5 pounds overnight (that blasted bloat fairy is everywhere, isn't it?) I use the strength and determination of that WISHer to renew my own committment and determination.
When someone maintains their weight, it proves to me that once I lose all of the weight I need to lose, I too will be able to maintain that loss and not gain my weight back.
Hokey? Maybe. All I know is that that's what this thread does for me.
Now to my favorite part
Meriweather You are just doing so well. Aren't you glad you decided to delurk? I love watching you steadily reach your goal.
Another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you have a shiny new clippie. It looks great on you. You will be trading up again, very soon, I'm sure of it.
Next week throw in a walk or two, to relax after all of that housework and painting you do and you will speed up your progress a little bit.
You are speeding down that road to goal. Your success helps keep me motivated, determined and smiling. I'm just so proud of you, so you'd better be feeling proud of yourself
John In Illinois I'm beginning to think I'm going to just have to start saying "ibid" or something to you every week. I'm running out of adjectives and superlatives with which to congratulate you
You are an inspiration and motivation to us all, yada, yada, yada. I know you have heard me say this same thing every week for a while
Seriously, I'm proud of you. You will have a 50 pound clippie in about three days at the rate you are going. Is that a pretty platinum one? You are amazing!
NancyK Look at that gorgeous golden clippie in your signature. Just beautiful. Doesn't it make you feel proud to see how much progress you have made? Nothing succeeds like success, huh? Are you smiling? Are you proud? You should be, I'm smiling with pride for you.
Another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you are wearing a smaller size. You are shrinking

What a wonderful feeling it is to be in control, don't you think? To set a goal and steadily work toward it must leave you with a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
You are on your way to goal and you serve as a wonderful example for me.
SnackyStacky Only 1.4 pounds from goal--what beautiful words. You will have that pretty red clipart any day now. Just keep on keeping on, you almost have the prize.
If I were you, I would thank everyone who cares enough about me to want me to stop losing weight and then I would lose the amount of weight I thought I should lose.
How do you feel? Would you like to lose a few more pounds? Do you feel healthy? This is a decision only you can make, Dan. I have no doubt you will make the decision that is right for you.
Thanks for being part of my support group, you are a shining example of success and you inspire me to just keep trying.
KayleeUK Thank you for the good wishes. I had a quiet mother's day and devoted myself to my mother the whole day
You lost another 1.5 pounds, that is a little more exciting that losing 1/2 pound, isn't it. Losing anything is exciting to me
You are on your way to goal and you are making steady progress. Isn't that feeling of being in control wonderful? You have made me smile today, sweetie. I'm just so glad you decided to join us here on WISH. You are doing a great job and you make me proud of you
CynJ Don't get discouraged...you are getting smaller! Don't you think that's great? Not only that but your blood pressure is improved too. Eating a controlled carbohydrate diet is supposed to be very helpful for PCOS. I hope you see some improvement in that realm too.
haven't lost a stinking 1/2 pound yet but I have lost 2 inches off my waist.
Okay, now how can I make you feel better about this? I'm thinking.....I've got it!
Let's say you could trade. Would you rather lose "one stinking pound" and have those two inches back? I know what I would choose. I'd rather be smaller than lighter. As a matter of fact, the only reason that I am working so hard to become lighter is so that I can be smaller. If I could wear a size 6 I would brag if I weighed 300 pounds. I just wouldn't care about my weight. When you think about it the number on the scale is one of the least important numbers in your life. Your blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides are much more important. You are improving your important numbers and you are getting smaller. Sounds like you are doing a great job to me.
You are a success and I am proud of you, so be proud of yourself!
KathyTX Your sunshiny and positive attitude is one of the things I love most about you. Just think, you are 1/10 of a pound closer to your goal.
You know you are doing everything right and you don't let that scale make you frustrated. What a motivation you are, what a shining example of determination.
I'm proud of you, my friend. You make me grin with pride. You are working your way steadily to goal. You're going to make it, too. I know you are
Debbie Your scale is broken, huh? Are your sure the dog didn't eat it? I'm just teasing you
You keep us motivated and smiling, Debbie. I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress over the past week.
CDoobee You are amazing, do you know that? You had several highly stressful weeks, with your daughter being so ill and you still have made steady progress toward your goal.
You are so close to trading up to that 10 pound loss clippie, too. Good job. You are a calming presence here on WISH but you are just a lot of fun, too. You keep me smiling and you make me proud. I so hope you are feeling proud of yourself because you should be.
Only 1/4 more pound until you earn that new clippie. That is going to happen any minute now

Keep up the good work!
Good job my WISH friends. You are all on your way to goal and you make me proud to say I'm a WISHer. You have such determination that you keep me determined. Thanks!
I don't weigh until Thursday so I have a while to wait yet. Keep up the good work everyone. Onward and downward, my friends.
