WISH Check in Week of June 22

<marquee>I LOST 3.8 POUNDS THIS WEEK!!!!!</marquee>

sorry, but I wanted to make the announcement worth my efforts!;) :) :p :)

2-lbs. lost this week, and one inch lost.

Congratulations to everyone that are losing, maintaining, and trying to lose weight. Onward and downward.

God bless you, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

ohMom I'm not sure how I missed you before, but I found you now so hopefully no harm done?

Well, I will do my best to not be too windy :) Maintaining your weight is excellent. Not as much fun as losing but still excellent. Good job.

Was that less "windy" enough? I can cut that down to just "good job", if you prefer...or perhaps just "good". Would you prefer a simple smilie face? Let me know Molli. I aim to please ;)

MelanieC Losing 3.6 pounds is excellent progress. Good for you! I know how you feel about gaining so much weight back again. I've been there, I've done that but I have decided that I'm not going to do that anymore. Now that I have WISH and my WISH friends, I am convinced that I won't do that again.

You are doing great Melanie. Your dh is home and safe with you. Now you can focus on taking care of yourself, again. You are going to be so successful--I'm just sure of it.

What an accomplishment to go to Busch Gardens and stay on plan! I am impressed and so proud of you. Be proud of yourself, you are on your way to goal!

perfectmatch300 You know, Nancy, you have sure faced a lot of challenges the past month. All of that travelling and house hunting, very stressful. But you are still maintaining your weight. That is excellent!

Be proud of yourself, cutie. You are making progress, even if you aren't losing, maintaining your weight is progress--it proves you're going to be able to keep this weight off after you have finished losing the weight you want to lose.

Step up on that exercise. Get yourself a WATP tape, that works really well in the airconditioned house :) Hang in there, my friend. I'm proud of you posting to the check in thread although you had no loss to report. That proves you are motivated and that motivates me. Thanks!

Nancy WOO HOOO!!!! Another 3.5 pounds gone forever! What a success you are, whether or not the weigh in was official. Did this make you proud of yourself? I sure hope so because I'm certainly proud of you.

I know you are very busy, sweetie, but try to make sure you take time for yourself while you are so busy with your girls. You deserve to take time for yourself and it will make you an even better mom than you already are :)

Fantasia Sam I think it's great that you went to DLP and didn't gain. Good job.

You're back home now, though. So get thee to slimming world and start working out again. You are back on track and you are going to do just great! {{{HUGS}}}

TigH I love your positive attitude. Losing .5 pounds even though you had three cheat meals last week is truly awesome progress, Good job.

You are just so close to goal. You will be there sooner than you think. Just don't get too impatient and you might want to think about having fewer cheat meals every week. On the other hand, you had 3 cheat meals and lost weight anyway. You're doing something right! Good job this week, Karen.

lynr Way to go, sweetie! Losing 4 pounds in one week is just awesome progress. You are sounding more positive and that is excellent.

I'm so proud of you for finding a solution to your lack of weight gain. You just took control and now you are seeing success, good for you! Be proud of yourself :)

jimmytammy Well, smarty. You didn't exercise enough and you ate an off plan meal before weigh in and you still lost 1/2 pound. There is just no stopping you, is there, sweetie? You are just determined and on your way to goal.

Just think how much faster you will lose when you do your workouts on schedule? You're doing just great, cutie and you will do even better when you start doing all of your workouts again. I'm glad you are part of my support group, your positive attitude keeps me motivated!

nicolep91 I'm so proud of you for posting to the check in thread this week, even though you didn't see a loss. When you do that you help us and help yourself too. Good job.

You sound newly determined and refocused. You're back on track and working your way to goal. That is excellent progress. Don't stay away so long again, okay? We really miss you when you don't visit.

anniet Excellent!!! Look at you go, sweetie. You lost 3.8 pounds in one week? What terrific progress and success.

I sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself, we're all proud of you~

RaySharpton Another 2 pounds gone forever! You are really making great progress, Ray.

Another inch gone, too. That is terrific, you are getting lighter and smaller and closer to your goal. Be proud of yourself. You are a great success and I'm proud of you.

I forgot to post my own progress this Thursday. I lost 3 pounds :bounce: I lose pretty slowly but I stay on my plan anyway because I know I'm getting healthier too.

I got a new clipart and I'm very proud of myself!

Onward and downward, my friends. I can't believe that another week is over. It's time for the new check in thread already.

Katholyn

I get to post on this thread finally! Lost 3lbs since last time I was weighed. Yahoo!!
weight loss since May 19 - 7lbs; add that to last fall's 15 lbs

Total weight loss of 22 pounds!
12 left to go (doc wants me at 130)

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Way to go, Barb! 3 pounds gone forever. You only need to lose two more and you can "trade up" to a new clipart :)

You are doing great! I sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself. You are a wonderful success and I'm sure proud of you.

You know, you can post to this thread when you maintain your weight too, or even if you gain. It's very helpful to do that.

time for me to say I forgot to check-in yesterday - I was too busy going to see our neice's new baby - yeah the one we had the baby shower for and I had those delicious petit fours :D well he's here now and guess what - he was suppose to be a she!! Pink nursery and frills everywhere - so they have some work cut-out for them real soon!!

Okay, okay, okay I was stalling - since I don't get to say that I am a loser this week BUT staying the same is okay by me - I am hoping for that mini-goal this next week - we'll see - I am trying really hard but you know if I don't make it - I will sometime and I will just keep pressing onward and downward!

A little (okay a lot) late! I wasn't around for my normal weigh in on Wed. so I went Thursday. I lost 4 lbs! I had gained 1.6 the week before for a net loss of 2.6 making my total an even 40 lbs! I've been stuck at 35 for so long it felt great to break out of that range!

I didn't do so well eating yesterday (had a double scoop ice cream cone!!) so I'm working hard to not gain some back next week. We spent the day at a local amusement park so I splurged!

Congratulations to everyone for all their successes and progress!

I had a bad week and ate a few things I knew I shouldn't have but at least I didn't gain anything. My weight stayed the same. I'm sure I should go back to induction but my baby is turning 1 this week so we're having a cook-out and then next week we're off to WDW for two weeks. I guess I'll just have to be as good as I can for the next three weeks and go back on induction when I get back.

Good luck everyone. This is gonna be a hard week.

Katholyn - he he he, you crack me up! You may be windy with me anytime b/c your words inspire me so! I just couldn't resist picking on you, can you forgive me? Tell you what, I'll bring my DDs to the MI WISH meet and share their hugs with you? OK? friends? :)

Congrats on your new clippie! I just knew WATP would be good to you!

200 and 1/4 pounds!  STILL cannot get BELOW 200!!  So, I guess we will see what next Sunday brings!;) Oh, I lost 2 since last Sunday. Total: 10 Pounds!

AlreadyexcitedGrammy Maintaining your weight is great. So you are a winner instead of a loser this week. Both are excellent, don't you think? Maintaining is so much more fun than gaining :teeth:

Good job, Bebr. You always make me smile, I'm imagining all the pink and frilly things being returned for that, oh so masculine, baby blue for boys :teeth:

You are an important part of my support group, Bebr. I can't wait to meet you in person.

Liz I'm just a tad confused. So you lost 4 pounds but you didn't really? You actually lost 2.6 pounds? Well, woo hoo!!! anway. You are a loser and a success and I'm proud of you.

One teeny question though. You've lost a total of 40 pounds on WISH and you didn't change your clippie? I would have changed that thing so fast that the technical support board would be spinning still.

You must be getting pretty close to goal now, you're doing great! Be proud of yourself.

cart-mom Well, you're pretty calm about not gaining after you had a bad week. That's a great accomplishment. You must have been subconsciously controlling your portions. Either that or you weren't as bad as you thought you were.

Maintaining your weight is good. Have a wonderful birthday celebration and trip. Just make the best choices you can and don't obsess about what you eat.

As you said, just go back on induction when you get back and you will be fine.

ohMom Friends forever, sweetie. I couldn't resist picking on you either. Can't wait to meet you. I'll be the plump one(that sounds better than fat, doesn't it?) who looks much older than everyone else, you won't be able to miss me :)

Can't wait to have {{{HUGS}}} from your girls, but mostly I'm looking forward to having a real live {{{HUG}}} from you, sweetie.

Poohbear123 Wait, you are confusing me. Have you lost 10 pounds since taking the challenge? You need to trade up your clipart, sweetie.

GOOD JOB! You lost two pounds, that is awesome progress and I'm very proud of you.

Have you measured yourself? I know some WISHers don't like doing that but if you are following the Atkins plan it is especially important to do that. When you aren't losing pounds you are usually losing inches. That is an important and valuable measure of success. More significant than seeing the number on a scale change.

You're doing great! Be proud of yourself, I'm certainly proud of you.

The week is over already? Where does the time go? Thanks for checking in this week everyone. Reading this thread is a positive and powerful motivator for me.

Katholyn

I started off on the Low Fat diet, lost 8 and gained it back. When I started Atkins I was 210. So, I lost 8 and than bounced up 2 and now I am back down to 200 and 1/4 pounds, so yes I guess I lost 10 all together.  Sorry to confuse you, and Oh, how do I get that 10 pound clippie?
